I have done a very dark forest green for my walls in my bedroom and LOVED IT. Yes I know..it shrinks the room, makes it dark etc etc but I loved it so much I have done it in my new bedroom too. I like the coziness I feel in that room. Im a self proclaimed hermit so I love having a "cave" so to speak in my room, plus green is my favorite color. Im very happy with my dark colored walls in my bedroom I say go for it and then show us photos

I have navy in mind for our bedroom too! I have got quite a lot of good ideas from pinterest, including possibly doing just the wall behind our bed.
I think it looks gorgeous and rich.

I think Navy is classic. I would also use clear, delicate, sparse accessories. Like a clear base lamp. I really love Navy with mirrored furniture & white bed coverings. I'm in the slow process of refinishing a small dresser with silver metallic that will serve as my night stand. I really wanted mirrored, but the cost was a bit above my budget for the size of night stand I wanted, so I found a good will dresser that I'm working on refurbishing. I hope to have Navy walls in my room someday.

Navy sounds lovely. I swear by Benjamin Moore Hale Navy. It's a really rich color!

I have a deep almost-navy blue on one wall of my office/scraproom. I really like it, but wouldn't necessarily have chosen the color for the room size. (It's a small room.) DS chose the wall colors when it was his bedroom. We also have an even darker true navy on the door of his room and it looks great. The only advice I have for you about doing navy walls it that it took more coats of paint than we were expecting (and this was high-quality paint with primer, don't remember the brand), so plan ahead. Good luck!

I have never had Navy in the bedroom, but I did have it in my living room once and really liked it. A lot of colors coordinate with it. It is a very classic color.

Not my bedroom but our Dining room walls are all navy (I think the color was Admiral Blue). I love them

One of my bedroom walls is navy, the wall that the bed is on. On the bed I have a white comforter with a blue pattern in it.
I don't think I would want my whole bedroom in navy, dark colors tend to make a room look smaller and darker.

Sounds lovely to me- though I would probably only do one wall. I moved house last month and my bedroom is all papered in a very busy deep purple floral paper. I feel a bit panicky sitting here looking at it as the walls really close in. Luckily I don't see it once the light goes off.

I would throw in some gold accents to make it look really luxurious!

I love navy! Depending on the lighting, I might only do the headboard wall though and not the whole room. Then again, if you are only in there at night, that might not make much difference. I have a medium blue/gray on my walls and I think it's very relaxing. Blue is supposedly the best color for bedrooms because it's calming...purple probably has the same effect.
