Anyone hear of her? I saw in Cloth Paper Scissors magazine and it looked interesting. Since I am so intimidated by it all thought maybe I could learn from others if I have a visual DVD or magazine to get me going.
Can any of you let me know of any other artists out there to look up ?
Thank you...gail

Julie is great but my absolute favorite is Roben-Marie Smith!!!! I don't learn well from magazines so YouTube and online classes are my best friend.

Yes, Julie is amazing!!! I love her work and the way she approaches it. No pressure and no perfection. Also I love looking at YouTube videos too. Also, I learned so much about product and techniques from Donna Downey.

Julie is one of my favorite mixed media artists. I'm taking her "30 Days in Your Art Journal" class right now and loving it. She introduces art journaling in a way that's non-intimidating and fun! Vicki Papaioannou has a lot of great ideas, too. I love watching her YouTube Channel. Here's a link to her blog: Clips-n-Cuts

I have also seen Julie on the Scrapbook Soup show. Other mixed media artists I like are May Flaum and Ashli Oliver. I am taking May's Camp Scrap class this summer and she has weekly videos on art journaling and mixed media as well as scrapbooking.

Does mercy tiara do art journaling/mixed media? I have only seen her do project life and scrapbooking.
I love Julie's work, and love her teaching style. I was lucky enough to take live classes with her too,and she's great.
