Twice this week I've wanted to go to 2Peas for something, to only sadly be reminded that it's gone (well, not for another few days yet, but you know what I mean). 1. I needed to find a layout. The image was nowhere on my computer. I didn't want to sort through stacks and albums. 2Peas WAS my scrapbooking history, and I always used it to see where I'd come from and where I was going next. I did upload my gallery to SB.com but it just isn't the same. 2. I finished a layout and wanted to post it to share. I always, always, always posted my layouts as soon as they were done at 2Peas. Even before I'd put them on my blog. It just felt like home. I know there are other galleries out there, and in time, one of them will feel like my scrapbooking home. A month after 2Peas announced their closure, I still find myself "needing" them.

Me too, still makes me sad. I know for now I can still do searches on the board, but man, when that goes away I will be bummed. The peas knew everything, and I did a lot of "consumer research" over there.

Same here. I was working on a layout last night about my dd's grad and got stuck. I so wished I could go to the 2P's gallery and be inspired. I went to Scrapbook.com and it was okay, but it's just not the same. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but my first instinct was 2P's.

I'm very sad and still somewhat shocked at how it all went down.

Count me in too! When you go someplace everyday for over 10 years, it is hard to accept it soon will be gone. I have moved my LO's to scrapbook.com and I am thankful to them for making it so easy. I will try them out, and have LO's to upload. But 2peas was my go to, so it will take some time.

A coworker of mine is working on a Lego-themed birthday party banner. I directed her to the gallery to look for ideas, but I told her to hurry. It's going to be gone on Friday. So sad...
It seems like it would be worthwhile for a Two Peas gallery site to stay open. I don't understand the decision to shut everything down when there is still an audience. Surely someone could make some money from it.

I am joining the sad pea group. I am currently stuffing my brain with Shimelle videos. Could not download them, so really hoping the videos stay on YouTube. It's nice that we are not alone.

Me too. I will really miss the gallery. There was so much diversity and I loved the different styles of scrapbooking I'd find there. I still can't conceive of all that wonderful inspiration disappearing.

I got my final purchase from 2 Peas a couple of days ago and it made me so sad. I just can't believe I will never again receive anything from them.

The NSBR side of this site definitely fills that void but it's hard not to have access to that huge gallery. You could search for anything.

I feel the same - without even thinking the other day, I automatically went to twopeasinabucket.com and then was like "ahhhh - I can't believe it is really going to be gone"

I miss it too. I first checked them out in March of 2001 after a scrapbooking class at my local store when the instructor told me about that site. I lurked there for awhile and then registered that fall. I went almost every day for 13 years for inspiration also. I do enjoy the NSBR side that's here but so miss the gallery.

I checked the gallery every morning while drinking coffee- for years. So hard to get used to the change. Karen

I really miss it too. It was always my "go-to" place for inspiration and chatting. I can't make myself remove the bookmark from my computer yet. What a wealth of inspiration we will lose. I have clicked on it automatically several times. Old habits die hard.

I spent today downloading videos, printing out things, and making lots of notes. I was on Two Peas for 12 years, and the wealth of information and ideas we are losing is a crying shame.
I keep hoping for some kind of last-minute miracle!

Ashley, I'm sooo right there with you. I think I really started grieving when Archiver's went down, that was my local place to touch paper and see product. 2 Peas was my virtual home and I was on there almost every morning for such a long time and posted for 8 years...it's definitely sad to see it all locked up and dead. It's going to take all of us a minute to start feeling at home someplace else. Just keep posting your amazing LO's...I need the inspiration and you are one of my favorite scrappers. Tina

Me too. I loved logging on and reading the forums. It was a great place for getting and sharing info. I remember years ago when the boards moved so fast you could spend a couple of hours in the evening just catching up on the day's posts. Actually, it says a lot that so many ex-peas came here.

I think I really started grieving when Archiver's went down, that was my local place to touch paper and see product. Yes! I'm still upset about Archiver's too. They keep sending emails about online sales and I can't even look at them. Really?? They put all the LSS out of business and then closed their own doors, and they still want me to shop with them?

I miss the gallery so much! I looked at it nearly every day for as long as I was a member. I'm still going every day, even if there's nothing new, just to see if I missed something. But, yeah, I'm really sad about it. There are some nice galleries on other websites but none of them quite measure up.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is still sad about 2Ps closing. I've been pinning like crazy from the gallery the past couple of weeks when I have some free time. I cannot believe that resource of inspiration is going away. It's insane how many projects there are in the gallery and that there is literally something to inspire everyone no matter what their style may be. I wish I could get a little cash windfall and buy the gallery/site and preserve it. It's like a museum of scrapbooking trends, styles and products for the past 15 years.
