Not even a comparison IMO. Scor-Tape is much better and much cheaper too for the amount you get. I bought Red Tape once, and never again. Scor-Tape is extremely sticky! I use it a lot to cover notebooks with PP, and after years of use, it's all still stuck down great!

I need something to hold military coins in a shadow box. I know the red tape works but the LSS only has Score-Tape. Think It will work the same? She who resists change.

It is extremely popular at our store -- I can't order it fast enough. People that try it seem to love it.

Hmm, that should work but not sure. For all metals I use Glossy Accents because it holds metals amazingly well but I wouldn't want to use that on military coins. My dad actually used some of my Pop Up Glue Dots for his coins.

I used red sticky tape on my paper bag album because the score tape just wasn't holding down. It is super sticky but its been 3 years and the paper bag album is still holding strong. I used it to secure the bag to chipboard and used it on the fabric to chipboard.

i would use the red sticky tape for the coins. It is stickier than Scor tape.

Red tape is less forgiving if you make a mistake, but it will hold better if the item is under a huge stress. I would use Red Tape over Scor-Tape for holding metal items to a page. I would use Scor-Tape for everything else.
When making box cards, I tried using my ATG because it was faster. Bad idea. The ATG didn't hold well enough (parts of my box came undone), while the Scor-Tape did great!

I much prefer scor-tape, though I haven't used it for metal. Much easier to use and you don't get that annoying thing where the red liner sticks to your fingers.

I prefer scor tape. But a couple of points: - be careful to not touch the sticky part because that will decrease the level of stick - once you have stuck the items together, rub over the are where tape is. Burnishing it in this way seems to enhance the sticky
I don't know that it sticks any better than red tape, but it doesn't stick any less, at least in my experience. And the lesser price, and the fact it can be torn off the roll with fingers instead of scissors make it more desirable for me.

I am a huge Scor Tape fan, however, if I had to adhere coins I would definitely use red tape. I feel that red tape holds heavier items better. JMO

I have to cut my red tape and scor-tape I can just tear it to size. Tearing it saves a lot of time.
