Buy a size larger, I bought something like that for my girlie it was her size but very very narrow. I think it's adorable! I agree though, buy a size up.

let me say, "I love it!" That is a nice little winter outfit for a boy. It is nothing at all like a bunny costume. You are talking about an infant, not a 7 year old.
As the mother of only boys, you must dress them in all the things you think are adorable and sweet and cute, because from about age 2 they will wear the same pants and shirt combo until they are old men.
I had every smocked, embroidered, truly precious and adorable outfit I found.
My boys are grown in their 20's, every baby photo is scrapped and they don't care one bit about ANY outfit I put them in. I saved a few of them in case I ever have a grandson.
By the way, I also have a little corduroy hooded suit that was my dad's that was passed on to me to wear when I was little, and sadly I never got my boys into it before they had outgrown it. So, there is always that elusive eventual grandson photo op.

When I'm taking pictures, the last thing on my mind is how this will look 20 years from now. If I worried about what future observers might think, I wouldn't ever take any pictures! When I look at the pictures of my kids from 1995 part of the fun is seeing what they were wearing, how they wore their hair, how their teeth looked pre-braces, etc. If you like the outfit, buy it and put your adorable son in it, future judgers be damned! @carblover443 in 2035 will just be happy seeing how her little boy looked way back when.

I think it is a classic design and appropriately cute for a baby under about 2.
Now, if he were 6-8 years old I'd say it went in the catagory of the bunny suit.

It's not ugly at all, it's classic and I don't think you'll look back on it in 20 years and say what was I thinking. It's also nothing like the pink bunny suit, besides wasn't that kid like 12 when he got it? Much different than an adorable tiny little baby wearing something like that. But, I have to agree with Eddie-n-Harley, I love love love the red one she linked.

I opened the link fully expecting to see something hideous and trying to work out in my head how to be diplomatic, but....
I love it!! And I love the blue one even more.

I think it's lovely and very suitable for your baby boy. It's classic and I can't see anything about it that would be a "OMG Mom why did you dress me in that?" in 20 years time.

It's a nice, Nordic look, there is nothing ugly about that but what type of outfit does your dh think is just right? Sports wear? Nordstrom is having a fantastic sale on infant/toddler clothing right now. Would love to see what he thinks is legit

My sensory issues kicked in when I looked at it. It looks itchy and way too warm and kind of strangle-y. I get physically uncomfortable when I look at lots of baby outfits though. Weird quirk of mine.

I would also agree to buy a size bigger unless he is just starting the current size. One piece outfits are usually shorter and more easily outgrown than if there are two pieces.

It's cute but I don't care for gray. No matter what you put on the baby, in 20 years he will say "what were you thinking?" Only because styles change. I put all my children in cute, smocked dresses and Jon Jon's and they have all said the what was I thinking statement. I tell them their turn is coming with their children.

I think it's cute but I'm not crazy about the blah color. Would be much cuter in a navy

I can't see anything at all objectionable about it. Get it, and then upload a photo of your boy in it, and we'll all tell you how gorgeous he is!

Love it!
BTW, my son is 22. He had several of those when he was little. There is this picture i have of him wearing something similar, under the table eating my mom's expensive Italian cookies that she bought. He has now told me I need to find him a 1 piece outfit so he can recreate that picture.

Your son is a few months old. Ralphie was 9. The outfit is fine. Your husband is weird.

It's adorable, and he's a baby, not an 8 year old, so tell DH to suck an egg and get it!

I love it. Nowhere near "bunny suit". My kids both wore outfits like these as babies.

It's cute. Dress him in it now because when the babies get older (teenager), they won't give you much say in what they wear. I do, however, retain veto rights on anything they wear on school picture day and major holidays. LOL

It's adorable. If your son were an 8yo no; but he's a baby. He will be cute as a button in it.

The grey makes it classic! But even if it was baby blue, I think it would be cute. Take it from someone who dressed her infant boys in non-babyish outfits, so as not to be cliched:
I blew it! This is your chance! We now love the few pics of them in obnoxious fluffy baby wear gifts- otherwise they're dressed in the same polo and khakis they're still wearing today. I'd love to have smockiing and Peter Pan collars to harass them with now!
