I love classic plain wrapping paper and it seems impossible to find it. I've hunted everywhere for plain red, deep green and especially white! Just can't find it. I like to wrap in plain colors and then go mad with the ribbon, etc.
Has anyone seen white wrap (or plain red or green) anywhere?

Dollar Tree and they also have kraft paper in rolls that I sometimes love to wrap with and embellish. That is by the mailing supplies though, not by the rest of the wrapping paper.

Have you checked a store like Party City? They have lots of solid color gift wrap.
Amazon would be my go to place if I couldn't find anything locally.

I used to buy plain white wrapping paper all year in the package wrapping section, along with brown craft paper. When my kids were little, I would wrap the gifts in white paper and let the kids decorate packages for grandparents.
You can also find white paper in the wedding gift wrap section.

Thanks everyone......Never thought of Dollar Tree. We have one locally. It's an hour drive to get to Hobby Lobby, but I'm sure I'll do it a couple times before Christmas so I can get some red. Now to track down green.
OH, I did try Amazon, and to my surprise there was little choice there. What they carry is more for crafts and there were many comments that even though it was called wrapping paper, it really wasn't of the quality one likes for wrapping gifts.

I've gotten plain white wrapping paper at the Dollar Tree last year. Hopefully they will have it for you this year too.

Hobby Lobby is well worth the trip. The rolls are huge and it's the perfect weight wrapping paper. Heavy, but not so heavy that you can't bend the paper around the package. And there is a grid on the back of the paper. It really is the perfect wrapping paper.

Butcher paper is another option too for white paper. The reason why most people (especially people with kids) don't like white is because usually it's see through so if you press it real tight to the box and look just right you can see the printing on the box of what's inside. I don't even like paper with lots of bigger white sections (Santa's beard, snowman bodies, etc.) for that very reason. If my kid is anything like I was growing up, she would try to figure out what everything is without even having to unwrap it. But since I know this and I am a wrapping ninja IT WILL NEVER WORK, Bwahahahaha!

Nashville Wraps -- they used to have "personal use" (that's not what they call it) size rolls as well. But if you use it for everything, then a big roll would probably work for you. We used Nashville Warps all the time when we put on scrapbook crop events!

Do you have a Meijer near you? I just bought solid red wrapping paper from them over the weekend. I don't know if they had white.

umm... couldn't you just buy some nice thick wrapping paper with a white inside, and use it inside out? or butcher paper.
