Instead, I woke up this morning at 3:45 full of tension and dread, and I'm sitting here trying to psych myself up to go into work.
The job isn't quite as bad as it was, and there are lots of awesome kids, but this year has killed any love I had left for teaching. It's negatively affecting my health at this point. I have to figure out what else I can do.
Anyone else dreading going back to work this morning?

Hope you can find something less stressful...terrible to go to a job you are not liking anymore.
Are you a teacher? How about office work there ?

I can relate to that feeling. I used to dread getting up to go to work, the job stressed me out to no end and I felt like I personally kept Tylenol in business. I walked away 3yrs ago and I can count on one hand the number of stress headaches I've had since.
I sincerely hope it gets better for you or you can find something that brings you more joy. No job is worth your physical or mental health.

ugh. i work with a horrible women who just joined us late spring. she was off thur/fri last week but will back back today. dread is the perfect word. it is funny how harmonious things were before and how much i took it for granted.
