One of our Tervis Tumblers has developed a seal failure. I don't have a dishwasher and noticed one of our big tumblers had soapy water between the layers of plastic when I was doing dishes last night. I did not see any visible cracks so I am guessing the seal is broken. I went on line to Tervis and filled out the warranty information and will mail the tumbler back tomorrow.
Has anyone had a Tervis tumbler replaced before? On the form, there was a line where you could choose the replacement of your choice and I chose a Christmas design. (The only restriction was for sports tumblers, they had to be replaced with the same team.) Do they send what you choose, if available? And how long does it take to get the replacement one the faulty one is received?

Now I'm wondering if I should talk to them about a couple of mine that are hazy. We've washed, soaked etc and still hazy.

I just took mine to Bed Bath and Beyond. They replaced both that it happened to. Hope it is a quick return for you with Tervis directly!

I've never had this problem but I've heard they stand behind their product. Contact them.

Tervis will replace ANYTHING! They are really good about that. As far as I know, they do send you what you choose. The one I had replaced was a sports one, and they sent me another sports one, but a different logo (I think the one I had originally had been discontinued.)
I don't condone this AT ALL, but someone told me that they knew someone who would go and buy used ones cheap at garage sales, and then have Tervis replace them for the one they wanted. Their warehouse is only an hour or so from here, so not hard to drive down and turn them in, but I had heard recently that they stopped taking walk-ins at the warehouse (maybe because of guys like this?) and everything has to be mailed, or returned to the store.

We have quite a few Tervis items - all different sizes, colors, etc. I've had to replace 2 of them. The first time it was the water bottle which was done with our company name. I didn't have to send it back but the replacement took about 3 weeks to receive. The second time it was a 16oz tumbler that had cracked. I had bought a set of 4 (only 1 was damaged) They told me to keep it, and sent out 2 replacements. Not sure why they sent me an extra one.

I think they are all on a mail-in basis now. We too, live very close to the factory. A guy at work was complaining that it cost him $12 to ship it 90 minutes up the road when he used to be able to walk into one of the stores for resolution of any problems. It is good to know about Bed, Bath & Beyond. Maybe they have some kind of agreement with Tervis!

I sent 4 back we had collected through the years. The size is not made anymore so they replaced with 16 oz and I asked for vague themes - fishing and girly sparkly for the grandchildren. Found 2 more at my inlaws to send back.
