Just finished and holy crap! The test was pretty uncomfortable and painful at times. I was fine all the way through it but afterwards I suddenly got a massive headrush and felt dizzy/nauseous and there was a whooshing sound in my ears. Everything seemed surreal and far away. I sat for a bit and now I'm sitting in my car, waiting until I feel comfortable to drive. My hands are killing me.
He said the tests confirmed that I do have carpal tunnel syndrome. Moderate in my right and mild in my left. I go back to the ortho in 2 weeks. The neuro doctor said with these results they'll recommend surgery on my right and waiting it out on my left.

I feel your pain! It's not a good set of tests but it does show up a lot of problems. Hopefully you'll get the help you need.

Glad you got some answers. I have had the surgery on my right and not on my left. So far so good. You will feel so much better after you have had the surgery. I know I did. P.S. Freebird has the button print in her Etsy store. I'm pretty sure you were one of the people who was watching for it.

I had that test done years ago, and I said never, ever again! Hated every minute of it! Glad you have answers. I have carpal tunnel, and I know it is much worse but I refuse to have that test done again.

I'm glad you're able to put that behind you! Sometimes the tests are the hardest part but just think, you're one step closer to resolution

i could not believe how horrible that test was! i was afraid they'd stick something in me and they assured me it was "just sticky patches" and omg, ouchhhhhh!! i ended up with surgery in april, i think, and 6 weeks later returned to work and got all the feeling back in my hand in september or so... i don't regret the surgery at ALL!

I'm sorry it was such painful experience. What is funny for me about this is my DH had this done a couple of years ago and when he got home he said it was no big deal, it just felt kinda funny. The funny part is that he is the biggest whiney baby in the whole world. LOL He ended up having carpel tunnel surgery on his wrist and elbow on the right. He sailed through that pretty much too
