Dd19 has been working a full time job all summer as well as working at her original p/t job 2-3 shifts a week. Needless to say, she's been exhausted and hasn't gone out much or shopped. Last night she decided to treat herself and get an iPad 4th gen. It was $399 and when she asked the sales person about the education discount he told her iPads weren't on the list only Mac books.
Wouldn't you know it, today I got an email from Apple for the same iPad for $379 plus a $55 apple store gift card. Dd decided to go in today to return the iPad and at the service desk, when she asked why we were returning it, she got a supervisor who said of course we match that price, and they even authorized a store credit for the $55 and she bought the keyboard case to go with it. No hassles and it was a great experience! They said "we want you to buy from us!"

Wow! Best Buy usually gets a bad rap, glad to hear their customer service is on the upswing.

My mom loves best buy. She only goes in there at Christmas time with her wish lists from her grandchildren. They always find her a chair and a clerk who runs through the store for her gathering all the stuff. They are kind and polite. It is always her easiest shopping of the season.

Getting them to the price match was something I never had any issues with either. They were always very good about that. Sometimes it was their own price I was matching because something would go on sale right after I bought it. Unfortunately, I don't have anything else good to say about Best Buy so I quit shopping there years ago.

He said last week he sold a Samsung Galaxy (not sure of the number) to a customer for 1cent because Amazon was running a deal! Fantastic customer service! Great deal for dd!
