I think Starbucks just found their artist for one of next year's cups. They would be smart to turn this into a design contest.

Wow. TFS!
The real question though, is what brand white pen is she using? I've never seen a white pen work so well.

Amazing I agree. I admit to playing the video and keep on hitting pause to get to see the writing on the white pen.
Fairly sure I can see the word Gelly which confirms that I thought it looked like the Sakura gelly pen ... bright white (you can also get stardust ones that shimmer and glaze ones which shine).

I got a container of Copic white ink from Japan. I haven't used it on a coloured cup, though.
I have calligraphy pens that I plan on using with the white ink.

Thanks SnowWhite ! I rarely watch YouTube, didn't think about it being posted there. I accidentally clicked the link to open the video at youtube directly, that's the only reason I saw it I don't think the multiliner comes in white. If anybody finds a white multiliner or figures it out, please share. You're correct, I went back and dug through the comments on the SBux cup video and this is what she says:

If you watch the video on You tube she answers someone further down the comments. Thanks for sharing, what an artist! Beautiful work.

I wonder if the wax surface of the cup causes it to lie on top, rather than having some absorbed into the paper, causing it to be whiter/brighter than on more porous paper.

I have a Sakura white jelly roll and don't get nearly those results. I wonder if it *is* the coating on the cup? I would really love a good white pen.

I have a Gelly Roll white that doesn't look nearly that good - on flat surface on regular cardstock. I love my Signo pigment white pen, though. I may have to stop at SB's tomorrow so I can do my own tesing!
