Could probably happen.
Our duck has taken to biting. And it really flipping hurts.
That's all I got for now
Tonight he was huddled up against the door with chicken! Oh so cute. ( they don't seem to know they wear a diwn comforter and the garage door was wide open so they could go huddle in their box.).
And. If you have a white feathered/ fur pet. How the heck do they get so filthy in SNOW?

It's a 5000 year old Chinese torture and capital punishment technique used by the Han/Ming/Ping warriors. They had a duck bite a prisoner at least 1000 times and all he could say is I LOVE YOU, Duck.

I love you duck is definitely not what I am saying.
Yesterday I had to drop his water bucket over him so I could grab him to push him away ! He still got me!

I got chased by a goose once a few years ago. Terrifying!
I think I would have to send that duck packing!
Hope you can break it of its new bad habit!

I had duck for dinner on my birthday on Saturday. It was very good! Domesticated water fowl are tasty!

My mom was a hunter (until age 10 or so) and she was the child and sister of hunters. She could not eat duck until she was about 40 because all she had ever eaten was wild duck and she made this disgusted face and told us about how bad wild duck tasted. She eventually came to tolerate domesticated duck. That is the nice kind you buy at the grocery store, cleaned and ready to roast.
Your pet, Ducky, is a pet. I understand that and I wouldn't be able to eat my pet duck any more than I could eat my poodle. A pet is a pet.
Why the duck, "Ducky", continues to bite the hand that feeds him I am not sure. I tend to kiss the hand that feeds me. I also have become the dog's favourite person now that all the other options are gone (and I feed him and give him treats...) Maybe "Ducky" will come around and will befriend you and stop biting. I am not good with domesticated water fowl and don't have a lot of experience with them. I know the Duck on Friends never bit Joey or Chandler, but maybe the Duck was tamed from duckling age onwards. I am not sure. If you brought the duck, "Ducky", into the house, maybe he would be nice and warm and not bite. If he smells bad, then, I would think that's a "moo" point. (Again, Friends reference).
Good luck with the duck endeavours. You can tell I know nothing, and don't claim to know anything either.

Don't worry, he is a lucky duck! He takes showers in our shower and gets a nice variety of produce. He gets to come in the house even tho he stinks.
Maybe he is too spoiled.

Remember the saying "Don't bite the hand that feeds you?" I'd be eating duck for dinner tomorrow.
