Can you get the free 30 days if you had it once before and cancelled your membership?

I don't think so. I got some kind of email notification for something about the 30 day free trial for the prime membership and when I clicked on the link I was directed to a page that told me all about how wonderful prime is, but the option for 30 days free was gone, baby, gone. I think they track us more than the NSA does, so I guess they know when you have done it before and don't want you to do something like get more free stuff. (Hulu is no slouch either in this. We had a free trial and then cancelled-but the boy came along behind me and tried to get another free trial on this laptop under his email address. Nope. They by-passed all the free stuff and charged me from day one.)

They offer it to me every couple of years and I can do it again, but unless they offer it me, I can't.
