If you were a teenager going to a church Christmas Party. What would you enjoy doing? There will be coloring for the younger crowd, and dirty santa for the adults. I am a horrible come up with an idea person, so any help would be awesome!

If you have an outgoing group, could you do Christmas karaoke? They might also enjoy a white elephant gift exchange. DH's family did one last year where they brought truly awful gifts but the participant had to have a story to tell about why their present was the best. The stories were outrageous and silly and very fun. When the present they brought was opened they could put on their snake oil salesman hat and start pitching. They had a great time with it.

My 16 yr old would like snacky food, not pizza (I guess that is done a lot). She'd like music and maybe dancing. She also likes games, challenges or ice breakers. But not ones that are very obvious that they are learning activities She said maybe even a craft, like painting the windows, making ornaments or decorating cookies/gingerbread houses. She also said they like to give back, so some activity they can do together to give back. Fill stockings, make cards, wrap gifts or put together food baskets.

A Tape Ball. There was a thread on here last week and I posted how we did it. Lots of fun and well received!

What is dirty Santa? And is it younger or older teenagers? Dirty santa is a game where you can steal other peoples presents. I'm not exactly sure how it's played. These kids are 12-17, so quite a big age range!

Back before I became anti church when I was about 13 I went to some church event for teens that held a indoor lockin and we had a scavenger hunt. It was tons of fun.
Also if you know what a Escape Room is it would be cool to make your own setup and have the kids try to get through it.

We did gingerbread houses last week - the teens seemed to have more fun than the little kids. They always enjoy eating, too. We do dirty Santa with the Girl Scout troop - you could set up a game for just the teens at the same time as the adult game.

Aldi has gingerbread house kits for 6.99. My kids said you need to supplement the candy included for decorating them.
