Now that I'm doing Project Life pages again, I'm tempted to subscribe to one or more of the monthly project life kits. However, I'm hesitant to do so, since I have such a big stash of unused supplies. I'm curious as to why people subscribe to Project Life kits. Is it because they are so cute? Is it because you get a lot of product for the money you spend? Does it inspire you to keep up w/ Project Life? Can you tell I'm secretly hoping that you will convince me I should subscribe to at least one kit?

I subscribe to three kits. I subscribe because I like the variety. This is likely my last year buying a core kit. I love what I'm getting, particularly with Gossamer Blue. My husband bought me three months with them for Mother's Day and another three for my birthday. I will likely continue on my own if he doesn't keep it up for me. I like that everything coordinates in the kit. It's also fun to get some new stuff to play with every month.

I subscribe to Citrus Twist & Take Ten. I do it because they are cute. I'm very much behind on my PL and haven't really done any layouts in months. I should quit them both, but I really like getting those kits each month! Maybe someday I'll use them.

I don't subscribe to a PL kit (yet) but I do sub to a regular kit. I do it because there isn't any place local to buy supplies and I like having stuff coordinated.

I just started back up with Citrus Twist and I love their PL kit. My two main reasons for getting a kit are cuteness and laziness. Lol. Every month, you're getting bits of the latest and greatest, but it all coordinates, too. So, when you want to scrap, all you have to do is pull out the kit, and everything you have is right there. I love the CT kits because they really fit my style. I previously subbed with them for over a year, and only quit because my kits were piling up. I'm so happy to be getting the kits again.
Why I specifically like CT's PL kit is because, like I said above, it really fits my style. Out of all the kits I bought from them, there's only one that I remember not liking very much. I also like that you get a stamp set and a full 6x6 pad with every kit. It comes with some 4x6 and 3x4 cards, but I like that there's a full 6x6 pad to cut out my own. You also get at least one alpha set, and a small roll of washi, with every kit. In addition to fitting in with my style, I think it's a good deal because it's only $18/month, with a 3-month membership. I swear I don't work for them. Lol. I just really love their kits.
If you do decide to sign up for a kit, the important thing is that you find one that fits your style. Not everyone likes CT kits, or likes to cut their own cards. But, I don't own any of the core kits, so it works for me. I suggest looking at all the different kits (i.e. Citrus Twist, Scraptastic, Studio Calico, etc.) to see which one fits your style AND your budget.

I subscribe to Cocoa Daisy's DITL kit. I've been really happy with it - it's my style and there's a good range of embellishments included. I still like some SC kits, but not enough to go back to subscribing. And I'm intrigued by Gossamer Blue kits and might try them soon.

I also have a huge stash of supplies. Plus I'm very behind on PL and scrapbooking in general. But I sub to Gossamer Blue because: * I love to get happy mail * I love to stamp, so that makes my kit worth more to me * I don't have an LSS nearby and like to get some of the latest stuff * I love the exclusive papers and embellishments * The matchy-ness of it makes it easy to put pages together * And finally, this is the one and only thing that is just for *me*. As a busy Mom, I am always doing or buying for someone else. It's nice to feel special when that package arrives.

I used to cut apart my papers to make cards last year and it was all fine and good but sometimes if I didn't already cut into a collection, I couldn't for a few 3x4s. So I subbed this year to sc. I like the ease of cards matching for that month. Makes it go a little faster. Now if the cards could come with my journaling on it would make things a whole easier.

I wanted to add that I do have quite a bit of PL stuff...mainly core kits. But I get tired of using the same 'style' all the time, KWIM. The PL kit I get helps add variety to my albums and I do try and use up enough of the kit to make me feel good about buying it.

I don't sub to any because I thought I couldn't use stuff up each month and I already have a lot in my stash! I use part of one core kit and one mini kit and mix them in with stuff I already have - patterned paper, stamps, dies, washi etc.

I get the SC PL kit and I just like it and the embellishments are generally "flatter" and I like that. I also have started doing a lot more 8 1/2 x 11 pages, and I like that the embellishments are smaller.

I was "moonlightgrrl" on 2Peas, but since everything else has changed, I switched here, too.

I've been on-and-off with Studio Calico since 2007, back when all they had was a Scrapbooking kit and a few add-ons. Now, I subscribe only to the PL kit and I am happy with it. I enjoy getting something in the mail each month, and I am familiar and comfortable with their style. I have liked other kits but there's always something that holds me back from making subscription commitments(usually budget).
I was addicted to BH PL Kits for a while and ended up waaaaay over-buying. I have 8 core kits, 5 mini kits, and several theme packs. The core kits are excessive and I don't think I'd ever want to use 10 cards with the same design in one book, so I'm always giving away cards. While I like to share, this is a HUGE drain on money. Kit clubs are so nice because there is such a great variety every month. Even if I don't love every single kit item, there is always enough I like to justify the cost.

I bought a few core kits (3) and I find them overwhelming way to many cards and I get tired of the designs. I did trade some here and there for other kits and that helped. I did buy a few months of the Elle studio pl kits and found those to be my favorite. I used those up every month. Just enough stuff to have. A variety but not so overwhelming like the BH kits.

I'm still toying with the idea of subbing to some sort of kit when I get out of the freezer later this year. Something with a nice variety of cards & embellishments.

I'm thinking about subbing to a PL kit as well, for many of the same reasons as above: 1. more variety--core kits are too repetitive and I never use all the cards (does anybody ever?) 2. since it's a kit, it will all coordinate and I don't have to waste time digging through my stash 3. I like getting happy mail, dang it! A little something that's just for me and that I enjoy. 4. Helps with the budget in that I don't spend nearly as much at Michael's or Joann's or online if I know I've got something coming in the mail soon! (at least, this was the case when I subbed to a kit club in the past) I know in advance what the damage will be!

I like getting some new stuff since I have stopped most of my random scrapbook shopping. And I love getting that little surprise in the mail each month
