I want to use a fine tip marker in my planner, and the Sharpie Pens supposedly don't bleed thru the paper. Is that really the case?
Or, if you use something similar, what would you recommend? I read a lot of positives about the Frixion and was excited because they're erasable, but then read they do slightly bleed thru to the back, so that's out.
Thanks!

The utltra fin tip might night bleed through, but I have known it to at times. I think it would depend on the paper weight. I love writing with them though.

I use fine tip sharpies on my layouts. I try not to hold it in one place for too long, because that can make it bleed.

I've been using some of the extra fine Sharpie pens for coloring books lately, and they bleed through that paper.

The Sharpie PENS do not bleed through. The MARKERS tend to bleed. Two different products. I love the pens! They come in many different colors and are easy to find.

I use the Papermate Flair pens in my planner and I love them. They don't bleed through but I do think it might depend on how heavy your paper is.

I really like the Staedtler fine liner pens. You can buy this set of black and each pen has a different size nib. They are permanent and don't smear and don't bleed. And they really glide across the paper. I can't say enough nice things about them. Staedtler Pigment Fine Liner Pens

I've used the Sharpie pen in my traveler's notebook and it doesn't bleed thru, but you can sort of see it on the other side. It's never bothered me tho. They are nice pens.

My kids have Sharpie fine tip pens in their drawing supplies. I tried one yesterday in my composition notebook planner and it didn't bleed through. I'm going to pick some up next time I'm out.

I've used the FriXion pens (and love them) but heard on the Paperclipping Round Table that it is possible that the ink will fade over time. I recall specifically that hot climates were more prone to that happening. I haven't had any problems, but think of it anytime I use one.

Depending on the paper, my Sharpie pens can bleed through if I go over an area more than once. Like, when I'm lettering or doodling. Usually on regular printer paper. On thicker card stock, though, no bleeding. These are ones that actually say "pens" and aren't the fine-tipped markers, which definitely bleed through (and smell) LOL.

Don't use the Frixion pens for anything you want to be archival/permanent! I also heard that episode of the Roundtable, which led me to investigate some online reviews of horror stories where people had left papers in their cars, etc. and come back to find the ink had become invisible! Supposedly, if you put it in the freezer, it might come back, but it discolors the ink!
I use the fine tip Sharpies for my LO and they don't bleed through cardstock or heavier weight paper, but in a planner, they might.

I had to start using Sharpie Pens on my calendar because of its glossy finish. I haven't had any bleed through. I do write really small.
