Sounds like the kids could be in danger. Who lets their 7 yr. old sons walk into people's houses. Could you call the police and explain the situation and let them decide? I don't know what should be done, but you don't want them stealing your things, and they could be in danger if they walk into the wrong person's home. She/he may not be as kind as you.

As the police to do a welfare check on the home. Explain the circumstances, what you've observed and they should go. They do it in the county I live in all the time. If there is something that concerns them, they will then call CPS. If not, they'll talk to the parent(s) about the stuff going on.

I have a girlfriend who I work withe and unfortunately we also live in the same neighborhood but at least on different sides. She is fine to work with but I don't associate with her outside work unless we give each other rides back/forth to work. Her parenting style is way different from mine. She has stated that her then 3 year old goes to the park looking to play with kids, without anyone going with her. She is now about 8. She will just go to whoever home to see if kids can play while her mom is here at work. From her stories it seems like her girl(s) just make themselves at home where ever that maybe. There are times she doesn't know where she is at (the other girls are older)... She has NO clue this is not really appropriate. She thinks it is cute. Maybe those kid's parents are the same way???
