I have an iPhone 4. The app that cam with it for calendar is used excessively for my medical appts, my daughters medical appts, and my sons. Plus of course day to day stuff. Medical appts can be booked months and months in advance and I have no memory.
the issue is this: three times in the past year for whatever reason my phone has deleted future and past appointments out of that app. (Will also delete contacts and notes). But the appts are a huge issue to lose.
as I mentioned my memory is awful.
i may only sit at a computer once every couple months. My phone is never synced. I'm not even sure what, how, so please don't go there. I'm technically challenged to say the least. Worse than that actually.
is there an app out there that is trustworthy for not deleting all on it's own? Something I don't need a computer for?

We use Cozi. No syncing required. Dh, I or the kids can pull it up on their phones or laptops at any time and view or update the calendar. We get an email on Sunday with the calendar for the coming week and use that time to touchbase and make sure we have everything covered from a logistics point of view. Love Cozi!

We've used Cozi, too. Of course, DH never looked at it so I stopped using it lol. I use Google now, but most of my devices are Android based now.

Have you tried syncing it with wifi so you don't have to plug it in?

That's one of the main reasons I don't use an app on my phone; what if my phone goes wonky and I don't know stuff is missing until it's too late? I know I could lose my paper planner too but it just doesn't make me as nervous.

I know nothing about iPhones, but I use the app Calendar on my android phone. It syncs automatically any time it connects or I add something. I can turn off syncing if I want

I like Cozi. Actually now that I got the whole family on board with the shared calendar I love it.

Another happy Cozi user. My husband & I have been using a shared family calendar for several years & we've never lost anything. If something happens to your phone you can log in on the computer & see everything.
