I have a real problem with this. Not only will a character ruin an actor or actress for me, so will their personal life. It drives my DH batty. It's not fair, but if they've done something I can't abide, like abuse, I just can't let it go and separate the reality from the character they are playing (I also don't want them to make money off me so I avoid them).

This is SO me! I can't stand Chris Brown, have no respect for Rhianna, don't like Brangelina for their affair and even my beloved Bruce fell off his pedestal for me when he cheated on his wife - even though I didn't like her! The list is actually longer, but those are the ones that sprung to mind.
