DH and I will be there for 5 days in October.
What's quintessentially Denver or Colorado that we should eat?
DH wants to try green chiles (I'm not so keen), and breakfast/brunch seems to be a big scene.
Any and all suggestions welcome!

There's a wonderful restaurant inside the Hotel Teatro. If you have a party of 13, they'll sit a funny dog statue at your table so you won't be unlucky. You're also close to Panzano, if you feel fancy. If you want a more laid-back meal, try Little India on Champa, or The Wynkoop. Happy Hour drinks at The Corner Office, inside the Curtis Hotel are a lot of fun. Bon appetit!

Argh! Kevin Taylor closed his Hotel Teatro restaurant a few months ago. Boo! I don't know if a new restaurant has taken its place, you'll have to let us know.

I'm in Denver now. Staying with my husband's cousin and her fiancé. I flew out to go with her shopping for a wedding dress!
I've never been to Colorado before and I'm loving it. The scenery is breathtaking.

Thanks for the suggestions

Magiannos (spelling?) is fantastic if you like LOTS of Italian food. Right off the interstate about exit 200 or so.

Wynkoop is great! We've been going there since they opened. Wonderful food - I don't drink beer, but DH says that's pretty good too lol
