That is so funny! Love the image (in my mind anyway) of the monkey!

You didn't sound negative at all. grab bags are a gamble. I used to buy grab bags from stamp companies. I got some great stamps, unmounted rubber. Stuff that you never think you used. I used. My favourite was a monkey stamp depicting the monkey sniffing glue and passed out.. Also a sentiment stamp "does this condom make me look fat" I RAK'd some of it. Shared some of it. But I sure got my moneys worth out of it. What an epic grab bag!!!

I will find that stamp on the weekend and post a picture of it. Its a perfect scrapbookers stamp..the monkey one anyway not the condom one.
I got the grab bags from viva las vegas stamps. they have great products. obscure images and normal ones too. Logo stamps, I bought a few Marilyn Monroe stamps from them. A bunch of stuff. I did learn though always get your stamps clinged. I hate clinging them myself.

I am always on the fence with grab bags... after looking at your pictures, in my case, I would have been pretty happy.. I was really picturing a lot worse. Some I wouldn't use and some I would.. But yeah it's always a gamble.

I used to always buy them I figured for the price why not. When I did my last purge of items it was 99% of the grab bag items. So now I just pass them by. I liked getting them and looking at everything and getting a good deal. But I found I never really used the stuff.

I think you got some good stuff, but then again, everyone's taste is a little different, right?? For the pom poms, you might not want to use them on a scrapbook page if you're not a 'lumpy' scrapper, but my first thought was to string them onto a piece of embroidery floss to make a garland out of them, perhaps for party or holiday decor?? For the price, I get sucked into the 'paper' grab bags, especially at conventions or my local LSS, but usually end up with a lot of paper I wouldn't use for actual scrapping. So, I try to not get tempted any more. Or, I'll still buy but know I might get quite a bit of 'scrap' paper rather than 'scrapping' paper, lol!!
(you could always see if someone would want to trade you for some of it, too.)

I'm curious what the price of the grab bag and shipping were.
