For Easter, I ordered flowers for my best friend. I found a flower shop local to my friend, but I ordered through their website. It was an FTD arrangement that was just beautiful, in a gorgeous clear glass vase that had lavender daisies painted on it. When my friend got the flowers, she texted me a photo, and I was NOT happy. The arrangement looked cheap and absolutely nothing like the photo on the website.
I was so disappointed that I emailed the shop with a photo of what I thought I was ordering along with a photo of what my friend actually received. The owner was so nice and genuinely seemed upset about how unhappy I was. She said she would keep track of my name, and the next time I wanted to order flowers for my friend, I could do so free of charge.
Well, I emailed her late last night to tell her that I would like to have a vase of sunflowers delivered to my friend either today or tomorrow. By 9 this morning, she emailed me back to tell me she had already been to the flower market and purchased some sunflowers and yellow/green foliage, said she has a lovely green ceramic vase to put them in, asked me what I want the card to say, and said that she will deliver them herself this afternoon.
I am anxious to see what they look like, and I have to say I am pretty happy with the way she has handled this situation. I think it would have been pretty easy for her to have been not so nice about it since she is halfway across the country from me.
Anyway...I just wanted to update for anyone who remembers that situation. I will post a photo later if I get one. |
