How did I not see these little, adorable, houses and accessories? I love making houses and have many old houses, called Putz houses, under my Christmas tree. Papertrey Ink has a line called All around the house, happy camper,... etc. When I go to their site it says that they are only accepting preorders for the all around the house... does this mean that they sold out of their original stock and are waiting for new orders? Is it safe to get on the preorder list? Did anyone order this several months ago and what are the results? I didn't want to link to anything to cause problems. But they are so cute! TIA

They're so cute! I never knew they had a name ... I just thought they were "cute little houses."
Are you going to do yours up for next Christmas, or are you thinking about another holiday?
I can't answer your questions about preordering, but best of luck!

TIA I have preordered from them in the past and I would just check out with PayPal if you're unsure, because they have a great claim resolution. I don't know if you've seen the blog, but they only offer the preorder when a kit sells out in 24 hours. I really like that they do this, because I hate when companies won't manufacture more when things are so popular. It takes some time for the preorder, but that's because they are starting from scratch again to make them. I had to preorder the Christmas kit last year and I'm glad I did.

samantha25 All Around the House was a limited edition kit which isn't available any more - not even for pre-order. But if you search for Petite Places there are some other stamps and dies.

That kit is so darn cute. But, the dies are so small...my chubby fingers couldn't work with those, lol.
There was a Make it Market Kit early on, I think it was Sparkles and Shine, or Sprinkles, or something like that, that sold out immediately. PTI did take pre-orders for a second round, maybe they're doing it again if it says Preorder?

I believe All Through the House is officially retired. When they introduce their limited edition kits, they are available until they sell out. If, however, they sell out within the first 24 hours, they will do a pre-order for those who missed out. Once the pre-order time period is over, the kits are no longer available.
You might be able to find one for sale on their sale boards but I think it was a fairly popular kit.

Oh my goodness - those are cute! If you have a Silhouette, they have quite a few files for paper houses, churches, etc. Not on that small of a scale though.

PTI Petite Places linkI added a link for those (like me) who have never heard of these before. They are very adorable! What do you do with your little paper houses after you put them together? I'd love to see!

Is there a gallery or blog that shows these in a finished state? Would love to see them. They look so cute.

Now I understand about staying awake and ordering quickly for an exclusive item. How many do you think they sold?

They normally seem to have a few hundred available but it probably does vary from kit to kit.

Thanks anniefb and freeatlast... interestingly, I was able to put an All through the house kit in my cart and purchase it and received an order confirmation. Do you think that's correct? I'm hoping it is, but will understand if it doesn't go through.

Interesting that I could only add from the thumbnail. If I clicked on the kit itself, I couldn't add it to my cart. Looks like you are ok, samantha25. Enjoy your new kit. You'll have all year to get ready for Christmas!

I also have a nice putz collection. I taught a class teaching how to make these houses. Pete Oehman actually has come up with a way to make the 'coconut' that was used on the roof usually.
Howard Lamey is the go to guru of reprodcutions! You can find these folks online if you are interested.
Bethany Lowe also does some beautiful repro houses, like Melissa Francis does.

I had seen various small house cutting files at the Silhouette design store and downloaded few of them.
Then I saw an adorable little house with an electric votive candle inside at the Paper Arts store. It was so stinking cute that I was seriously tempted to pre-order the Sizzix die they had used. Instead, I went home and hunted up more of the little houses in the Silhouette Design Store.
I have also noticed a few print and cut houses on Pinterest. They should be something I can import and cut with my Cameo.
The little houses must be trendy right now, because there are various options.
The PTI kits are very, very cute, though!
