Happy Sunday! I finally made it to the gallery to leave some love on at least the most recent gorgeousness that I've seen here. Now I want to spend some time on Kelly's blog. Seems that any spare time recently the kids and hubs play on their computers, but I am reading books outloud to them while they play. I'd say something is wrong there, but it's been almost a year since I or my husband have read outloud, other than a Bible chapter. Although everyone usually has a book and the kids, with more time usually have 10. House update: Our electrician was suppose to come last Thurs/Friday, but called early in the week to say his new homes (it's his bread and butter jobs) are all ready for him. So he thinks it will be the 18th. The contractor had 2 unexpected family members die over the holidays. And so he had to push us off this week, but really he needs the electric done first anyway. So we are in flux as we wait with all of the outer wall insulation out upstairs except in our master bedroom. Don put up plastic over the other bedroom doors and across the outer wall in the hall which has helped immensely. I'm ready to be finished, but am enjoying having a couple of noise free weeks to get back into our school work. nylene , I am totally loving your cleopatra layout. What font did you use for the title? Is the glyphs a font too? which one? Several years ago, we studied egyptian history, we wrapped the kids up like mummy's, they wrote their name in heiroglyphics. But I was never happy with the pages. I think this is just what I need!! scrapincin , hope the cardiologist goes well tomorrow. kellyr21 , I thought those flowers on the joy page were store bought! They are gorgeous, as is the page. maribeth , hope you are finding time to relax a bit, but I know with year end, you are probably not. Sending you some virtual fuzzy slippers and your drink of choice! for a quick break. We had rain the last couple of days and now we've had at least 6" inches of snow overnight and more expected through today. Snow isn't a problem, but that it's sitting on top of a sheet of ice is. ugh. So my wish for my fellow Pokey Peas today, is to stay warm and cozy.

Happy Monday! Hope you all are having a nice day so far. I plan on going to M's this evening for a card making class. Whenever they have these free classes, I feel excited to check 'em out. They have several this month in different crafts and I hope to make at least another one.
Thanks for all the praise you all left on my blog and Flickr. I enjoyed sharing them and I think this was the first time in a while that I blogged several days in a row. So this week, back to my home deco and I guess I will take my Christmas tree down, ... maybe? LOL!
Lisa- It is nice you have those breaks in the action. I know it must get frustrating at time with all the noise and disarray. Hang in there! When is it expected to be done? This year?
Waving hello to you all and have a nice evening!

Hello, Pokeys. Seems like I never get the time to get to my computer on weekends.
Cindy, I love your Halloween layout. What a great opportunity for young artists to help decorate the town. Love everything about it. How was the sppt. with your cardiologist? I hope he finds that you are doing well on the meds. With all I've been doing to help the sinuses, I guess it wasn't enough. Went in to see Dr. this a.m. and she gave me an antibiotic. I have been doing a saline rinse twice a day, but just can't seem to clear it up. Hope the meds will do it. I need to feel better when we leave.
Lisa, I found the fonts for Cleopatra on dafont. The title is Ryja and the hieroglyphics are from Egyptian Hieroglyphs Silhouette font. Thanks for your kind comments. I am glad you are getting a bit of a break from building noise. Will this put you way behind your planned completion date. or are you just taking it one week at a time? Your snow sitting on top of ice makes me cringe. I fell 2 years ago, broke my nose and shattered my wrist. It seemed to take forever to heal. I am very afraid of ICE! Be careful!
Waving hello to all of you. I need to get something done the rest of this day. Have a good one.

Good Tuesday to you all, I just popped on to see how scrapincin 's appointment went yesterday and to get kellyr21 's blog information. nylene, I hope the antibiotics work. AND THANK YOU, thank you, Thank You, for the Egyptian information. As for the house, we didn't really know what to expect. We were only hoping to finish the upstairs and save the downstairs for another time since we are saving up and then having work done so as not to take out a loan. However, we're already over-budget without the rooms even close to finished. But we really didn't know what to expect. I could rant and expound on the frustrations of home refurbishing and the joys of having it done longer than anyone would care to listen. It's definitely a learning experience and I will know better for next time. My contractor is great, however, his project management skills BITE. So I'll be taking over that aspect with our next project.

I am sorry I am just getting this information to you. I should have posted yesterday! I got all good news! I do not have to see him for 6 months. My ekg was normal and he was happy with my results of the meds. He also gave me guidelines for the future episodes of a fib. I have only been in a fib once for few hour as since Thanksgiving when I started these meds. So I am happy! I am so appreciative that you ladies are praying for me as I truly believe prayers help.
Nylene-I sure hope the antibiotic gets you cured! I want you to enjoy your trip!
Lisa Thanks so much for checking in on me! So sorry to hear about your construction problems. You would think they would know how to price out the job the are doing. I have some things I need to have taken care of and I am not looking forward to it.
Ok I will be back to see if anyone has been here!

Good Wednesday morning Pokey's I have not posted in several days. I have checked in and read the posts and am so glad to hear that scrapincin and nylene health issues seem to be coming to a positive conclusion. What a great way for you to begin 2016. LisaDV I feel your pain - LOL. Although I have never experienced a construction project myself, I work for a construction company (building is not longer an active part of the company), and when we were actively building it was so difficult for the owner to project manage to the customers satisfaction because so many of the subcontractors refused to work on anyone's schedule but their own. This is especially true in our State, many people I run into in this State is that they feel they can put off anything until tomorrow. That is actually why the company got out of the building aspect of it. I hope the situation improves and that the next project you tackle goes much better. The long workdays with an additional hour of walking just makes me have no motivation to do anything, even post. This should be no surprise I have been dealing with this for years now, I just always hope that miraculously I am going to get a burst of energy and feel like scrapping in the evening, but reality sets in and I really get depressed. I have so many projects I want to work on, and so little time I am at least making myself feel a bit better by watching those feel good Hallmark Movie Channel movies in the evening. Quote for today: "Goals Are Dreams With Deadlines" Author: Diana Scharf Hunt
Go out and make it a great day Pokeys - sending warm wishes and virtual hugs to you all.

Happy Wednesday! Hope you all are having a nice afternoon. I did go to the card class at M's the other night. I had a good time. We made an accordian type card which I have never made before. It was sort of complicated but I made it through. If I had to make another one... well not sure but maybe my creative self would figure it out. LOL! I will share it with y'all. Also, I have been having fun working on some deco for my living area. I found these party wall decos like lanterns and tissue paper fans and flowers I plan to use. I even painted a cute frame I got blue. Hopefully soon I will have it all pulled together. Yes, it is going to look like a fun party in here! Ron says he is strong enough to handle living with all these bright festive colors! LOL! Happy wife makes a happy life, I say. Hey, how is everyone doing with their exercise? I have been walking and doing some of my yoga. I hope to keep it up and give myself grace when I drop the ball some days. It is a process, right? LOL! Cindy- So happy you are ok and on the mends. I know it must be a big relief too. So this means more scrapping for you. The Browns got a new coach today. Are you happy with this guy? Nylene- I hope you keep feeling better too. I really want you to feel great for your trip. Are you planning to get any new clothes to take? Oh boy, you are going to have so much fun. Maribeth- Hang in there! I hope you can find some time to play after all that work.

Good Thursday morning Pokey's Only two more days until the weekend! I won't get much (or anything) crafty done on Satuday as I have an eye doctor and hair appointment. I can't see a thing anymore, I need glasses desperately. You all know my plight of the long hours I work, so I hate it when I have to schedule appointments on the only ME time I have, but it has to be, therefore I try to pack them all in to one day. I will get home and be exhausted, and then it will be time to watch football. Even though I wont get to "scraft" (which is my new word to encompass scrapbooking, cardmaking and general crafting), I feel like I will be accomplishing a lot that needs to get done in my life. kellyr21 So glad to hear you are having fun decorating your place. I enjoy decorating too! It is a pleasant feeling to be surrounded by textures and colors that you choose yourself. I can't wait to see the card you made, your class sounds like it was great. I have got to check out if M's or HL here have classes. Congrats on your walking and yoga routines. Although I find walking on the tread every evening for an hour an intrusion to my time, I do realize the benefits it affords me. I try to be sure to walk M-TH, and then I usually take Friday evening off. Satuday and Sunday are optional, since there are days I am doing a lot of activity I sometimes feel I can skip the walk, and sometimes I just decide to skip it. But then often I will just go walk for an hour. The one thing I have found makes it so much easier for me is that I have recorded Hallmark Movie Channel films and therefore there is always something to keep me entertained. Last night I watch "The Memory Book" and the time just flew by. Quote of the Day No pessimist ever discovered the secret of the stars, or sailed to an uncharted land, or opened a new doorway for the human spirit. --Helen KellerFeeling pretty pessimistic today - really wanted to win Powerball so I could retire, but woke up to reality once again. I need to take the advice of the above quote to heart today and GET MYSELF OVER IT - LOL Go out and make it a wonderful day Pokey's!

Maribeth, I love your quotes. I'm sorry you are having a hard time keeping up and finding time for yourself. You are so dedicated to use your treadmill so faithfully. Watching the movies probably helps a lot! I hope you get some time to scrap this weekend.
Kelly, your decorating ideas sound like so much fun. Ron would have to love the bright fun colors because they really represent YOU. And he loves you. I can't wait to see what you have done.
Cindy, I am so glad you got good news from your Cardiologist. Way to go! I'm sure it's a relief, not only to feel better, but to hear him say you are doing better. Hip Hip Hooray!
Lisa, I don't envy you the work you have to do on the house. I feel so fortunate to have a contractor son who just took over when we renovated. He had his sub-contractors here when they told us and it was only 3 months of living without a kitchen. How I wish I could send him to you. We ran into one of his sub-contractors the other day who said, "That boy can do more with less, than anyone I've ever seen." I think he learned that at home! He must do a good job, because he keeps getting contracts for more BIG homes...like over 20,000 sq.ft. What would you do with all that room?
Mary Ann was it hard to see your daughter go back to school? I always just hated the holidays to come to an end while my college students were home. I loved having them home even if it was only 2 weeks. Hope things are going well for you.
Today was my friend's husband's funeral. It was a beautiful service and each of their 9 children + 2 foster children took 2 minutes and told one important thing he taught them. They are an amazing family. I'm hoping to get some time to scrap tonight. I have a 2 pager going....slowly!
Have a great day and a great weekend if I don't make it back. Seems like weekends wipe me out.

Happy Thursday! Not much going on here today but stopping by to say hello! Maribeth- Oh, you may not get to scrap but those Hallmark movies are such fun! Yeah! I love watching those movies too. Even though many of them have a similar story line, I don't care!!! I still love seeing them. I can't wait to see some of the upcoming ones for Valentines. I heard there is one with a Pride and Prejudice theme I want to see. I loved the original Good Witch series too. Also, glad to know we are both decorating gals. I haven't really been into it for a while due to limited money and space. But I decided it was time to work with what I got to perk this place up. Nylene- Thanks for the kind words and I can't wait to see it all come together. Cindy- Today Chip Kelly went to the 49rs. I didn't really follow them last season so not sure if I will keep them as my team or pick another one to follow. Oh and now we got the Rams, maybe I will cheer to them. The new stadium for the them is going to be right next to my in-laws home. So I wonder how the traffic and all the new construction will effect them? Ron is all excited though and especially that the stadium will be in his old "hood" next to mom and dad. LOL!

It's Friday Pokey's - can you see me doing the happy dance through your computer screen?
Working on the year end books today (actually all week and will continue to next wee), teaching my new assistant how we prepare for the CPA's review of the books each year. So hopefully it will pass quickly. Right now with the weather our business is really slow, and therefore the days seem to drag on.

I am beyond excited for my weekend. Hopefully I can get a great many things accomplished this weekend, I have so many plans for it.
Have a wonderful Friday Pokey's and a great weekend.

maribeth , I can hear you jumping and shouting clear up here! I hope you have a great scrappy weekend! Do you get Monday off also? I have finished a couple of pages. Nothing fancy, but it's taken me over a year to get these scrapped. In Concert by Nylene Budge, on Flickr Strait From the Heart by Nylene Budge, on Flickr I kept telling my students I'd see them on Monday until one reminded me there was no school on Monday! I had forgotten about Martin Luther King Day. I could take down all my Christmas decorations...........or...............scrap over the long weekend. Which do you think will win out? LOL I hope you all have a great weekend and that you get a little "you" time. Happy MLK Day.

YAY! for scrapincin!!! That is good news and with the word CLEANSE as your motto, I'm sure in 6months you'll get good news again. I need to do the same. maribeth, I feel your frustration. When the One Word challenge first started, my yearly word was BALANCE for like 2 1/2 years. And then I was just like I'm never going to get any of it, so why bother. But a couple of years ago, I realized I was looking at Balance for my life all wrong. I wanted time for a,b,c, d, e, f, g, h, and i every day. But in my life, I have time for a,b,c, everyday, the rest has to be rotated through. That's balance for me. Not my ideal, not what I really wanted, but it's what works. With your schedule, it is understandable to just want to veg. When you're not working, you kick butt on projects. I think you should just embrace that. Embrace your AWESOMENESS. Oh, and I love the word scraft. kellyr21, I can't wait to see pics of your living room. It sounds like a lot of fun to decorate but also a lot of work. I struggle with home decor and love seeing other homes. nylene, hope scrapping wins out. I love your GS layout. This is a layout I started in December and just finished this week. It only took a month! But in my defense I had to order a white pigment ink refill as my pad was almost dry when I went to use it. It is 13 years old. MyGift by Lisa Davolt, on Flickr

Oh, and after our dentist appointments on Thursday, we stopped at the little grocery store and Don saw a sign. So this is our new puppy. Our 5 year old, lab mutt, is taking a while to warm up to him. She was fine at his house, but when he came home with us.....She's the baby and thinks she is our 3rd child. So I just told her that like the cat is the other kids pet, this is hers. Hopefully she'll understand. We're still looking for a name. 1_14_16_LC_B by Lisa Davolt, on Flickr

Well, it's Saturday and the tree has not come down. I plan to play in my scraproom. The grocery shopping is done and I still have some laundry to do, be the rest of the day is mine. It's cold and snowy outside, so I am snuggling under my heated throw and organizing and ordering photos.
Lisa, I love, love, love that layout. I wish I could have sat beside you to watch how you did that background. Such a talent! BTW, that new "pet for your dog" is very cute. I can see why your lab was jealous. Hope things work out and they enjoy each other.
Maribeth, I'm sorry you don't have Monday off too. I wish I could give you that day. We will have a b-day dinner for our son-in-law. (the one that keeps my computer humming!)
DH has loved the lathe he got for Christmas. He has made some beautiful pens and some Christmas ornaments. He was just fiddling around the other night and made the most beautiful redwood spinning top. Lyssie (12) watched him do it and asked if she could learn. So last night he had her come over and they were down there working for about 3 hours. I thought he was just teaching her with practice wood, but she came upstairs and had finished a beautiful birdseye maple pen. She wants to come often and learn some new things. I took photos of her working and the finished product, so I'll scrap them so you can see. I have an idea that at the next Cousin Camp she'll disappear into the basement with her grandpa! Usually it's just the boys who hang out down there.
Well, I'm off! Have a great weekend, everyone!

Good Sunday morning Pokey's LisaDV - WOW! Great layout. I love the colors! That layout is not something that is usually my style, and it just goes to show you how others work can really be eye opening and inspirational to you, and a place to learn and embrace new colors/ideas/techniques. I love that aspect of this forum. Thank you for the thoughts on balance. You are right, and I do follow that premise for most aspects of my life, it is just very, very difficult for me to keep that in perspective when it comes to work, and how much time I spend a day away from everything I love. But I like to buy things, so I know I have to keep working - LOL! Darling puppy! nylene - How great that your DH is enjoy his new tool. I love those pens. I had never seen one before but my office mate's husband made one for her and she brought it in to the office. They are really nice, in these days of plastic everything having a nice pen has gone out of vogue. Yesterday - My Packers lost last night . But I had an otherwise productive day with my eye doctor appointment (I can't see a thing anymore), am glad I will be getting glasses for work and a pair for crafting and reading. Got my hair done - long overdue as I could not get in through December due to scheduling conflicts. Killed some time between appointments at a little gift store in our little mountain community here and picked up few things (hence the reason I need to work, they were pretty pricey). Today - I have to finish my monthly sister/BFF project and get them ready to mail, so I WILL be scrafting today. Happy New Year!!
I started the year off with my computer hard drive going bad. I just got my computer back and a new hard drive to boot. I would beware of Fire Vault on a Mac. I had upgraded Quicken and it suggested to turn that on. It encrypts your files and I thought that was a good idea. My computer stopped responding and when I restarted it, I just got a white screen. It somehow locked up my hard drive and Simply Mac couldn't get it to unlock. I have been trying to get Carbonite to restore my files. I just hope that my Silhouette Cameo files find there way back! It has been a slow process.
I got married on Dec.21 and it was a great time in KC. I don't have any photos on my computer currently. I had been busy with work after we got back. I had been looking forward to being off for a little over a week this month but I have been sick. I ended up having to calling in on Monday with high fever and muscle aches. Finally, after a week that is better. Now my throat is red and sore. Yuck! I am spending my vacation recuperating. Because of all of this, I had to reschedule my eye surgery. I sure hope I am better by then!
I am at the Mudhouse and they just closed. I will have to check back later! I hope everyone is doing well!

Good morning sweet ladies!!! I've been lurking and decided to get motivated to post. I'm off of work today for MLK day, so I'm looking forward to an extra day home with my kids. I've actually been getting a little bit of scrapping done this weekend. I'm working mostly on photos from a trip to NYC that Mallory (my 17 year old) and I took last year. I also did a bit of Bible journaling earlier this morning. I do have one exciting thing going on. My hubby and I are headed to Puerto Rico next week. I think it's been about 15 years since we took a trip alone together, so we are looking forward to it. I wish that I'd gotten back on the diet sooner, but at least I'm sure that I'll be far enough from home that I won't see anyone I know there...lol. Nylene and Cindy - I'm glad that both of you are feeling better! Lisa - That LO is soooo pretty! I love the fun colors, the cute photo and the big bow. Jana - Congrats on the wedding! I hope that you have many happy years of marriage. I was off right after Christmas for 10 days and was sick for 7 of them, so I completely sympathize with you. I worked 12 hours a day through December and was so excited about being off work to spend time with the family and ended up spending most of it on the couch. I hope that you feel better soon. Hope you all have a wonderful day! Tina

Hello Pokey Folk.
Congratulations Jana. I hope you'll have a chance to post some beautiful wedding pictures.
Lisa -- that's such a pretty layout. Very ambitious and you nailed it!
I did some scrapping this weekend. I didn't finish anything, but I was having fun. I had some raw chipboard that I wanted to figure out how to embellish. I learned so much from a couple videos, and played around with stamping and embossing it. I love the look.
I was redoing my daughter's Iditarod Trail school page, and embellished a husky dog chipboard die. I'll post the new layout version once I glue it all down. I'm very rusty with scrapbooking. I love the looks in the gallery, but I'm having trouble translating newer techniques into my own style. Actually, I'm having trouble getting back into my own style at all. I think it's going to take a lot of practice. It's important to me to feel that my layout is right when I glue everything down.
I'm signed up for Erica's (Journeyfan) scrapbook obsession class. It's all about organizing the scrap place. I figured, I paid the money for the course, so I'm GOING to do this. I like my scraproom, and I want it to work for the way I scrap (which I'm still figuring out.)

Good Monday Morning Pokeys Bad football weekend for me, but I forgot that the Australian open started last night so I was sooooooo happy to see it on. Hubby will be a tennis widower for the next week or so as I stay up and watch as much as I can and sleep on the couch so when I wake up I can watch a bit more and fall back asleep. This is my happy week+ that I look forward to every year! knutschen - Congratulations on your marriage. I sure hope you can get to feeling better soon. What a bummer to be sick when all this happiness is going on in your life. shinyhappytina - Hello! Have a wonderful trip, and can't wait to see some of your pages you are working on. maryannscraps - Glad you got to scrap this weekend. I know exactly what you mean I have to be sure the page is exactly what I want before I can start adhering items. I have been watching a lot of Shmille videos and I get so nervous when she starts adhering items before she total knows what is going on the page. I got my sister/BFF projects done and ready to mail, and then found out there is no Postal Service today. Totally Bummed. Oh well I will mail them out tomorrow. marybeth, I get nervous watching Shimelle slap things down and adher them while she's still moving things around. I'm with you and maryannscraps, it has to be just like I want it to glue it down. Then I hate moving layers for fear I'll forget what went where! I hope you enjoy the tennis, but you have to get lots of sleep or you'll get sick too. There is so much of it going around. (what would you do without a mother giving you advice here?) Tell me about your sister/BFF projects. maryannscraps, I think your old style will fall back into place as you start scrapping. I love all the new looks I see in galleries, but I find I slip back into my own, pretty boring, style. I usually journal a lot and I notice that there is not lots of journaling on some of the fun gallery layouts. To each his own, I guess. I'd love to see what you did with chipboard. I have never really used it because I don't know what to do with it. Jana, knutschen, congratulations on your wedding. I am sorry that you have been ill and had to change your surgery date. How is married life treating you? I'm glad things worked out for you. Please take care of yourself so you can get better. This nasty stuff is hard to get rid of. shinyhappytina, you mean to tell me that little Mallory is now 17? Wow, time flies. How is Olivia doing? Before long it will just be you and Ron and your little Dude! Oops, I'll bet he's not so little anymore! We are glad to have you drop in when you have the time. Would love to see some layouts of your growing-up children. I need to run. I need to get to Michaels and to a fabric store today. I'm waving to LisaDV, scrapincin, kellyr21 and any other Pokeys lurking about. Have a wonderful day.

Nylene - Mallory and Olivia are both seniors this year. Mallory is graduating from high school, Olivia from college. We are getting ready to start our last season of show choir competitions, Mal's first competition is in 2 weeks. As usual, I'm chaperoning for their trip this year and will be traveling with 150 kids on a bus to competitions. Olivia is doing awesome, she just finished writing a book about her time on reality TV called "Unreal". Her advisor and professors think it's publishable, so they are helping her with contacts for that. She is off until the end of the month, so she has been meeting with contacts about marketing/PR positions. She would prefer to be a writer, but being able to use her writing in her work will do for now. She's hoping to get a job in the Indy area and plans to move in with some of her friends this summer. Griffin is 12 and is in the 6th grade, so he will be the only one home next fall. I've honestly been kind of bummed about that, the girls go everywhere with me, so I'm used to having company a lot. Griffin is such a quiet, studious boy, so I think our house is going to be strangely quiet next fall. He may need to take up shopping with me as a hobby.

Tina, I had to laugh about your interesting Griff in shopping. I felt so sorry for Angie when she was the last one home. I know she felt like she was living with old fogies. After her first 2 years at college she transferred to BYU and moved back home until she got married. The poor thing! She seemed to survive us though. It's strange to be "almost empty nesters" and then really strange (but quiet) when you are real empty nesters. LOL! I don't know why I say quiet though, since it seems like there are grandchildren in and out often. Congrats to Olivia on her book. That is amazing. I'd love to read it since I followed them every week. I can't believe they have grown so quickly. Mallory was just tiny on that show. Wish Mallory good luck on the competitions and I hope you enjoy your chaperoning and your trip to Puerto Rico!

Good Tuesday morning Pokeys
Well, day(night) one of Tennis two of my players won, day(night) two of Tennis two of my players lost and one of the players I wanted to loose did loose. I am having so much fun, these two weeks are two of my favorite weeks all year. I actually got a lot done too, no "scrafting" but I took care of some business(personal not work) that needed to be dealt with, and put together my photo order for my end of month "scraft" retreat I will be attending.
Today's quote:
Adults are just outdated children. Author: Dr. Seuss
Go have some fun today Pokey's.

Happy Tuesday! Hey, good to see all you ladies here! Not feeling that great today but I hope to be "shaking and baking" "moving and grooving" later. oh, I gotta take a pic of that according card to share with you all too. (note to self) Maribeth, that game with your Greenbay team was awesome. Aaron Rogers almost won that game with those great throws. Sorry they lost but glad you are enjoying tennis! I do like to watch it sometimes especially when the Williams sisters are playing. They are from my hometown. I never saw them play as kids but they have come a long way and done so much. Jana- Congrats to ya! So happy you are a married woman now. Are you still going to have a family ceremony later? Hope you are feeling better too. Nylene and Tina- You are both gonna be taking great trips soon. Can't wait to see pics and hear all about it. So fun!

Hi Maribeth and Kelly! Nice to see your smiling faces. Well, the scraproom won out and my tree is still up. Oh, I feel so lazy, but I went through all my photos and ordered over 200. I had a costco coupon for 100 free, so it wasn't too pricey. I was so anxious to scrap last night, but I forgot to pick up my photos, so I used an older one and scrapped it. I should have done the undecorating, but maybe tomorrow after school. This was made almost entirely of PL cards. I need to use them for something since I can't seem to make PL work for me. 1 2 3 4 5 by Nylene Budge, on Flickr

It looks like Flickr is having issues. They are apparently working on it.

nylene - Great use of the PL cards, I love it. I don't do PL either, but i do use pocket pages in order to house additional photos of places/events etc that I don't want separate scrapbook pages for. I also use them on layouts. Yours work wonderful here as they are really colorful and in the same pallet and go together so well.

Thanks everyone! kellyr21, We have talked about have a small ceremony at a later time. We haven't set anything in motion yet though. nylene, what a cute LO! That is a great way to use the project life cards. I seem to have a small collection of those too. I thought I was getting better but everyday, my throat keeps getting a little more sore. I noticed that my throat has white patches today. I tried to call my doctor this afternoon and he was out sick today. The weather is bad and they told me it is possible they won't be open tomorrow if the weather is still bad in the morning. I was suggested to go to a clinic. I guess I will pursue that tomorrow if they aren't open. I am afraid the clinic might not be open. Frustrating!! Nurses get frowned on when the weather is bad if we miss at the hospital. They tell us to be there no matter what! I hope this weather blows through quickly. I am trying to just take is easy tonight.
