Did anyone get one for Christmas ( or before!!) What do you think of it? Considering getting one, but not sure if its just going to be a waste of space in my craft room along with other tools from the past..... thanks

I'm not sure what a heatwave tooL is. Could you be meaning the Fuse Tool?

This video didn't sell me on it... Hey NayWow. She's really struggling with that Heatwave tool! I bought it but haven't tried it yet. I don't often make a bad purchase but I fear this could be a bad one. This tool seems so clunky and it seems so hard to get good results. I bought it with the hope that I could trace stamped images and gold foil them. The reason I haven't tried it is that I can now achieve that in a much more convenient and pretty way by using the Minc Toner Ink marker, minc foil and my old laminator. So much easier than struggling with the Heatwave tool. I guess I should try the Heatwave tool and make a review. I wrote a review of the Minc Toner Ink marker and foiling in that way, and I really like it. www.mydreamdecember.com/create-play/holiday-scrapbooking/let-your-december-projects-shine-minc-toner-ink-marker-foil-review/

My LSS has had the heatwave tool for months. When she first got it, she absolutely raved about how wonderful it is. I wasn't sold so I left it behind. Glad I did. The 4 she had are still on the shelf several months later! I've been a victim of several bad scrappy purchases in the past (Basic Grey notch tool... Fastenator, rhinestone setter to name a few) but for some reason, this tool just didn't make any sense to me! Thankfully!

I don't have the WRMK heat tool but I do have the Martha Stewart Heat Cutting tool. Like the Fuse. I used that with the heat reactive foil and also found it rather clumsy to use. You are basically writing with a heat tool. Most of us write holding the pen/pencil low to the point. It is pretty much impossible to do that with the Heat tool.
