I have a couple older CM power sort boxes and a couple cardboard photo boxes that are pretty full. I also have several years of my kids photos power sorted (remember the old CM way?) onto CM pages and stored flat in Iris 14x14 containers. I still use CM albums for the kids since that is what I started with for them and it's made sense to keep using them (yes I had to hoard a few extra back in the day).
I might be several years behind with my scrapbooking, but my photos are all accounted for and stored chronologically. Just finished up ordering for 2015 this morning.

I have mine sorted into the iris photoboxes, which I love.

The printed ones are in Iris cart drawers in a closet in my studio. The digital ones are half disorganized in folders on my computer and three different EHDs. I'm working on getting all of them imported into the Scraproom software on my computer where it's much easier to sort, rate, label and tag them. I'm way behind with working on it because I've been busy with a hundred other things.

I don't print until I'm ready to scrap. Once printed, I put them in a 5x7 accordion divided folder and use index cards on end to further separate by event. I should add that I go on two weekend retreats a year where I get 90% of my scrapping done, so I really only print pics a few times per year.

Photo storage boxes with dividers. I have enlargements in a 12x12 Iris box.

On the computer I print as I scrap. I scrap out of order so I have done a little of everything.

Glad you got your 2015 pics orderd! I got 200 ordered, too. I was waiting for the new years sales at Snapfish and shutterfly. I stay pretty well "caught up" so I don't have a lot stored. When I get an order, I sort them by the album they go in and put them in a page protector in that album.

I don't print photos until I am getting ready to do some scrapping. Then I put the photos in an "in-progress" binder, one that has photo pockets, but that I can put completed pages in, too, until I have time to put them into the appropriate album.
That's just easiest for me.

I bought a box of manila envelopes 9"x12" at Costco. I write what the event is (2015 Christmas) and place the photos in the envelope. I store the envelopes upright in magazine holders. When I am done with those photos, I cross off the description and re-use the envelope later. It makes it easy to grab the photos as I want to scrap them.

I have mine stored in order by trip or event in a We R Memory keeper album with photo pocket pages. I kind of follow the holding album concept from Tiffany at the scrap rack

I'm so jealous! I am years behind in my photo developing. I simply don't have the space to store them all. When I catch up, I'm going to start what a lot of you ladies do and print as I scrap. For now, the photos I have printed are stored in a few of these Cropper Hopper cases.

I have anything pertaining to my kids, b-days, school, concerts, holidays, in those huge iris plastic photo organizing boxes with individual photo boxes. The rest I have organized by event or holiday in those cardboard photo boxes you can get on sale at Michael's for like a buck fifty. I also have an old cropper hopper photo box full of older photos as well. I'm a firm believer of having all my photo as printed out. If anything ever happens to me I want my kids to be able to have the physical pictures. I also have them all on an external hard drive organized by year, then month!!

When I was doing traditional scrapping, I used to buy 3-up albums and put my printed photos in those until I scrapped them. I marked the albums by year. That way I could still look at the photos or show them all to people even if they were not scrapped. DH added a few shelves high up in our closet for me to store them all. When i switched to pocket pages (PL style) I just put the printed photos in the pocket pages where I will do my scrapping. Of course, I also have plenty of photos that are not printed yet, too. Those are on my computer and backed up on a hard-drive as well as on CDs or DVDs.

I only print when I'm ready to scrap. The exception is one lot of photos from time living overseas which are just in regular photo albums. My big project this year is to scan them, dump most and scrap the best (trying to reduce 8 photo albums to about 3 binders.)

I upload my photos onto the computer, and on to Snapfish regularly (every week at least).
I print from Snapfish once I have about 100 pics in my cart (unless I want to scrap something very specific, then I print sooner).
When the photos arrive, I write the dates (from & to) that the pics are from. And a list of which events the photos depict.
I also write notes about journaling and whatnot on a post it & stick it to the back of photos, if a thought comes to me.
All the snapfish envelopes with pics are stored together in a box on the shelf, waiting for me to get to them.

I have my developed photos from years ago in their original envelopes in traditional photo boxes. Photos I've received from other people over the years have been sorted in CM photo boxes. All my digital photos are on a separate computer hard drive. I have yet to print any of those, I'm so behind! Ugh!

I have my pre-digital photos (from back in the days of film) all stored chronologically in archival shoeboxes from Exposures. I have a LOT of these. I've been buying them slowly over the years, and on one vacation to Maine, we passed through a state that had an outlet so I stocked up. I also use these for the photos I've printed from after I switched to a digital camera, and it took me quite awhile to make the change (I'm a traditionalist). I have 36 of these boxes.
Being a former pro photographer I'm kinda picky about archival storage.
The photos on my computer that aren't printed yet are stored by year and then by subject.

all over the darn place...
The older photos (pre-digital to about 1970) are in Rubbermaid media boxes (plastic with lids) divided by year or person waiting to be scanned.
vacation photos are by trip in an Iris box with the memorabilia/embellishments/papers
Whatever year I'm currently scrapping - the photos are in page protectors in the albums
Years I got sidetracked on - I have iris boxes where I toss the memorabila and the photos as they get developed.
my two most recent orders are sitting on my scrapbooking desk waiting for me to deal with them....

I don't print much in advance. The pics I do have are stored in my Cropper Hopper photo boxes.
