Bear with me guys, I know I've started a few threads this a.m. so bored at work. My boyfriends daughter wants to make a planner and I'm thinking I want one for myself too but I have no idea where to start. Is there a good tutorial out there somewhere?

That looks like a lot of fun! Plus using scrapbook supplies on hand and an inexpensive notebook, it won't break the bank. Thanks!

Depending on what you want in your planner and how you'll use it. I'm a utilitarian user. This year, I'm going to make myself faux-dori and probably a bit bigger than the traditional midori. I like that I can change the inserts to what I want to carry in my purse and that the size will fit in my purse. This Video was the first I watched and she links to 3 different people who give you how to make them. This is the best video on how to make your own inserts.

I have made my own version after my friend showed me her Midori. I used real leather and made my own inserts, plus I utilized my scrapbook stash.

I've made a version of a Midori using Ray's printouts at My Life all in One Place. He has a great range in all different sizes and styles, all available for free to print at home. He has clear instruction videos to help, too.
