I guess painting counts as mixed media. Any way come visit allfromtheheartcrafts.blogspot.com to see more. I just decided to try and give some canvas painting a try. I've always wanted to work with canvas.
Also, it's not on this pic because I don't want the receipt to see but I added their first initials and date of wedding in a heart.

I have never tried regular painting but I did get post size canvas to try using with mixed media...I like what you did here...

In my dreams I can paint. But in reality, I can't draw to save my life. Any kind of representational drawing eludes me.  On the other hand, a canvas can be awfully fun to play with. I like to get the really cheap ones (loosely woven, already stretched) and sew on them. It has been fun... |
