Someone made me the same on in blue for my son. It was adorable and I loved it. (though he was born with such a big head it didn't fit! LOL)

I wish I had a cold climate baby girl to crochet for! My granddaughter is due in a few days but she's in Florida. I have made a few hats but I don't want to inundate dd with hats that the baby may never get to use.

I made that same hat but in a toddler size! It's such a cute hat and an easy to follow pattern. You did a great job and it'll look adorable on a baby:)

I totally would have a hat on a baby the last couple of days. Not only that, because it doesn't stay cold for very long, cute cold weather baby things (like this hat!) are coveted and passed around for YEARS. (We are coming up on our coldest time of year too...so unless she lives in Key West, it will get chilly.) |
