Not block their specific posts, but block the thread itself so it doesn't show up on the home page?

I haven't found a way! I hate being on my phone and not seeing the OP and then clicking on it only to see the blocked member post. I wish we wouldn't see when others quote them. I have them blocked for a reason and then I still see them quoted.

LOL! I found the gift option as well. I am thinking there isn't an option to block threads from showing up in the feed, but the Peas have surprised me before with their message board savvy. dewryce , I will compile a gift list and let you know exactly what I want.  |

Yes, it can be done. It depends on the options you choose. Instead of the thread title, it will say "The creator of this thread is on your block list.".

It's easy to say that we should just scroll past the threads we find offensive or wrong, but you can't unsee the title.

Yes, it can be done. It depends on the options you choose. Instead of the thread title, it will say " The creator of this thread is on your block list.". Do you know how you did this? I have a certain member blocked (and I selected all four options when blocking) but I still see thread titles from her posts. I'd also love to block a thread for when there's a thread title that is upsetting. Sometimes I want to come here and not keep seeing distressing reminders of things like rape, child abuse/murder, and animal abuse. |

Go to Profile
click Edit Profile on the right
Choose the Privacy Tab
Under Member Block List, type in the name of the member,
when you select that member they are added to the blocked list
5 options come up
The last option is block this member's threads
Instead of reading their thread title it will say this member has been blocked or something like that.

I figured it out...
Go to edit profile, click privacy....scroll to the bottom and there's a place to add a screen name...all of a sudden "block threads" (or something like that) comes up...YAY~~ Make sure to click save changes

I just want to know if I'm the person everyone is blocking. Cuz I'm not paranoid or anything. I'm a semi-invisible Refupea, so it's probably not me. But I'm curious about who IS being blocked. I guess I must be too lazy to block people. Plus, my eyes get a great workout from all of the rolling they do when certain people post! |

If someone consistently annoyed me, I put them on ignore. So now I have just a couple ignored, and it's nice. So this new ability will be the icing on the cake. And, since I'm quoting you, you're obviously not anyone I am ignoring. Now I see that this was just another option that is available when you ignore someone. I feel so silly for never noticing it before!  |
