Don't know if Rebelyelle is here at the new board. I sent her a pm at Two Peas and I'll search members in a minute. But when I told my dd that Two Peas had closed the first thing she said was "What? Thank goodness it was after we met [insert Rebel's real name]!" lol
A few years ago Rebel asked about what people would pay a mother's helper. I noticed that she lived right near us so I mentioned that my dd loves children. After we had both (unknown to the other) checked each other's posting history to be sure we weren't one of the crazies (lol) we arranged for dd to meet her and her dh. Dd ended up being mother's helper for that entire summer, babysitter during the school year, babysitter now when she's home from college, and back to half-day babysitting this summer. Rebel's ds is now almost 5. omg... My dd is absolutely in LOVE with Rebel's ds. She reports all the cute things he says, and mentions daily to me how funny and smart he is.
None of that would be so if it hadn't been for Two Peas.
