So all through 2015 I kept seeing beauty YouTubers raving about Men's Nivea Shaving Balm in Sensitive formula as a primer/moisturizer. I've tried a few different primers like Smashbox and TooFaced, but they made my skin feel slick and also usually made me break out. I was at Target last weekend and just happened to notice this on the shaving isle and thought, why not. I've used it 4 days in a row and holy frijoles it works!! It also has witchhazel which will help if you have any redness. It does have a masculine smell, but it was gone after a few minutes. I'm digging this ladies and it's only $7!! Just thought I'd share. I've been using it for about a month now. I posted it on a thread awhile back. A lot of YouTubers I watch love it. It does a really good job of smoothing my skin to be able to apply foundation very smoothly.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm going to try it out. I really want to know how people figure out that a product like this works for primer. It would never occur to me to even think of that!

I figured out that Preparation H worked well for under eye circles. Don't ask how I figured that out. (I didn't try it twice.)

Based on your recommendation I just bought some from the chemist - although it costs $11 here. I don't normally wear a lot of makeup but recently went and had a Bobbi Brown consultant put makeup on and wow, what a difference!
I'm off to a wedding tomorrow so I will try this out as a primer. Wedding at 1:30 - Reception from 6:30 onwards, so definitely need my makeup to last a long time.
I'll return with my verdict.
