One of the bottles of nail polish was broken. As in broken-in-three-pieces broken. What a mess. And the smell - yikes. I'm really sad because it was the color I really wanted the most. Boohoo. LOL I've cleaned up the other 2 bottles and already emailed them and hopefully they will send me another bottle. Has any one had any experience with their customer service. I'm keeping my un-polished fingers crossed. Seriously though. Who's bright idea was it to mail bottles of nail polish in a paper mailer with no type of protective bubble wrap or something? (And that, my friends is my first-world problem of the day. Silly, I know.)

I'm sorry - that sucks! What a pain to have to clean that up. I just went through something similar with Amazon - twice in 3 days. I ordered coconut oil, along with some other things and the oil container had a seal that was torn. The oil saturated the box, and all of the other stuff in the box. It was nasty! In a separate order I received body wash through 'subscribe and save' and one bottle cracked in several places leaving a huge mess to clean up. I hope that they replace the polish for you. Good luck!

I hope the various customer service departments make good for both if you. What awful messes to have to clean up.

I have enough trouble getting nail polish off of myself. Not a fun way for you to start the weekend.

I got mine the other day and it was in a padded envelope but it wasn't very thick. I'm lucky mine didn't break.

In the past they always shipped in a small shipping box, but not this time. Cost saving measure I'm guessing. The polish was "free", but the S & H was $12. I may be out of luck since it was a free item and I'm technically not out any $$$.

I've never had an opportunity to use their customer service, but I've heard good things!

I hope they take care of it for you, they really should have padded/protected better.

I had one bottle that was chipped once, not even really broken, and they sent me a new one.

I would have thought that nail polish would have to be packaged very securely since it is flammable/contains chemicals.

I think mine came in an envelope and the polishes were in a tiny cardboard box with a section for each polish.

My one customer service thing with them was good, and I"ve always heard good things. Let's hope they keep their track record! No matter what, though, I'm sorry you'll have to wait!

I have heard that a few places don't do a great job at padding nail polish that is sent in the mail, I hope that you get your replacement.

Yikes, that sucks. I understand the polish was free, but if I am paying $12 shipping then I expect some decent packaging ! I hope they make good on a replacement

Charging $12 for shipping, then sending three nail polishes in a paper envelope with no padding sounds like shady business to me.

A divided box inside a bubble mailer? That's not "no padding" in my book.
For the record, the one that I received that was chipped was in their standard packaging... The divided box, packed in peanuts, inside a larger box. Shit happens.
