I was wondering if anyone is going to get in on any of their deals. I won't be because I hate paying for shipping for the most part. But after the lock down on the message boards, I am not even considering it even if shipping wasn't an issue.

Nope....I don't really have the money right now, anyway. I already have too much stuff that I need to use, and I don't like the way that they treated their loyal followers.

No way! I would be worried about them taking the money and then getting nothing or defective merchandise.

No way! I would be worried about them taking the money and then getting nothing or defective merchandise. That! Too much hassle to get my money back from my credit card company if something happens. But it seems a lot of people are shopping, estimated shipping time is 7/21!

I'm not. Mainly b/c they went about this the way they did. Gave no heads up and locked us out of the threads. Those of us on the swap board have no way to communicate. Some of the swappers only check in on their phone so they don't know to check peamail. It's made it a NIGHTMARE to make sure the swappers are completing their obligations. As a current hostess, it makes me furious and makes my job near impossible.

No, but I hardly shopped there anyway because the shipping was too high and I have a nice LSS nearby.

No. 1- I have enough stash and am trying to purge and organize what I have. 2- No money, college tuition due for 3 of us next month. 3- I did try to support them when they were up with supplies, digi files, classes etc over the years... but not now with the way handled things. 4- Their sales prices aren't even good compared to other online retailers who aren't going out of business. I guess I just coudl have said "no." huh?

Not really, I bought a stamp I had been wanting and that's it **shrugs** the site was acting crazy and a lot of stuff was sold out. I figured I might as well save my money and shop elsewhere.

Nope. Won't give money to people that just shut the boards down like how they did.

I did place an order the day they announced the closing. I'd already had some things in my cart, and then I added a couple more things. Things were going VERY fast. By the time I was ready to check out I only had $15 worth of product. I submitted it and then got a 502 Gateway error, so I shut down and said 'screw it', but then I got an email that the order did go through. It was a moment of panic, and I regretted it the second I got the confirmation email. As the day went on I was even more disappointed I gave them my money. Thankfully it was only $22 but still...not my finest moment, lol!

I did, but only because I had a GC to use. There were a few things I tried adding more than one of and was only able to one. It was a pretty painful shopping experience.

Yeah I was wondering about all the swaps.. that sucks... I was also wondering about all the For Sale stuff going on as well. I bet a lot of those won't go through because of 2peas.

I did... It sucked because I wasn't impressed with how they handled the closing, but I had credit, my LSS closed three months ago, and living in Canada pretty much anything I want now I have to order online... I had stuff in my cart already, and I added a few smaller items that aren't worth the shipping to just order by themselves from somewhere else... I did take out some Two Peas brand stuff I had in my cart though - probably a petty move, but I knew that seeing/using those things would bring up how they closed and just didn't want that drama reminder with my LOs...lol

Nope. Not even if they offered free shipping.

I almost did, but the shipping combined with the estimated ship date and the way they handled shutting down the boards helped me to decide that only getting 30-50 percent was not worth it.

Nope, I don't trust them. The situation with the classes sucks. While I figured out how to save them. They could have figured out a way to get the videos to the people that paid for them. I'm sure there will be a lot of people that won't realize there are ways to download videos.
So I don't trust that they will deliver an order. Or if something goes wrong, it would be a hassle to get it straight.

Seriously? That is crazy!
I can't shop because I am too busy saving everything I can in the short time frame they generously gave us. (insert sarcasm here)

No. I dislike paying for shipping and what happens if they don't hold up their end of the deal? Just too much hassle on my end then.

I do! When I was a pea I never had any issues with ordering from them.
I find it awful that so many are commenting that they think that 2peas would steal and run off with money. That makes me so sad.

I just happened to be online when they sent out the closing email, and I had stuff in my bucket so I immediately scooped up some deals on products I had wanted anyway. I got a lot of items, including newer collection kits and stamps at a good discount, so I decided to eat the shipping cost. I placed my order within 20 minutes of the newsletter going out, and I received it two days later in a USPS Priority box. The order was complete, packed well, no problems.
I am saddened that the site has ended this way, the store essentially being run into the ground by bad business choices and customer service issues. I have gained so much creative inspiration and learned so much from the Garden Girls, the videos, the gallery and the message board, all of which I understand are very expensive to maintain. I was happy to support the site, which provided so much "free" content to so many. I think that once the issues with the store started too many shoppers left, and the cost to maintain the "free" content just wasn't sustainable. I do not have experience running an online business, so I can't speak to what should have been done differently to stem the tide, but I am sad that such a great community has ended this way.
