I have organized my projects into files with photos, paper/embellishments, and often journaling and titles. I have labelled each file with the subject and date. I have a couple of extra sets of paper/embellishments in case I don't like what I've already chosen I am taking my Revolution and dies. I have adhesives, Xyron, washi tape, paper trimmer, ruler and graph paper (because I can't scrap without it). What else do I need? (I'm so excited!!!)

Well, the one retreat I went to I forgot my photos, but you seem to have those I'm thinking beer, I don't see beer on your list. I too and going to a retreat this weekend (you're not in Pennsylvania, are you?) and I have to go get beer today.

Awww man, I haven't been to a retreat in years! I so wish I still had scrap friends around to do this with.
Sounds like you have planned really well, my most important thing was the page planning. Maybe some extra basic colors of cardstock you might need.
I always took post-it notes to crops, so if I forgot something at home, I could just stick the post-it onto the layout with notes for what I need to do when I get home.

Have fun. I went to a retreat over MLK weekend and some things I took that I don't see on your list are table lamp and outlet strip. I also brought a tablet that was handy for checking Pinterest for layout ideas. Don't forget snacks and drinks. My friend and I also brought some wine. Also, pop dots, I forgot mine and had to buy some.

I way overpack, so I won't even begin to give you my full list (which the anal me has on the computer, printed out and put in page protectors so I can cross items off w/a dry erase marker).
Off the top of my head I will say that if you're going for the weekend, don't forget your toiletries, bedding (if needed) & towels. I always like to bring my iPod, but it can appear rude, so use your best judgement on that.
Layers of clothes - you never know the temp of scrap rooms.
If there are outlets, a light for your table is nice, especially when it gets dark. If you bring one, don't forget an extension cord & duct tape so you trip any of your fellow scrappers.
Extra adhesive (you can NEVER have too much) & blades for your trimmer.
Pen, paper & a camera of some kind. I am always inspired by something and it's good to have a way to record stuff for when you get home. Then you won't be saying, 'What's the name of that caddy that gal had?'. You'll have written it down or snapped a pic.
If I think of more, I'll come back, lol.
Have the best time ever!! I love scrappy weekends!
ETA: Ummmm . . . I meant don't trip any of your fellow scrappers, lol. I guess I need to proofread better!

I am going to a retreat this weekend, and you want to talk about over-packing! The entire back end of my Explorere (with the seats folded down) is completely full with only one small suitecase being my cloths. Food and bottled water in the front passenger seat.
Have a great time.

This retreat includes catered lunch and all kinds of snacks and beverages (though not beer!). Have fun at your retreat!

When I went the first time I didn't know a soul. I met some awesome women there and we sit together every time. If you have the opportunity, you should go to a retreat even without scrap friends. You'll make new friends! You'll have fun! Cardstock and post-it notes - great ideas! Thanks!

I just looked at the notes I made from my last crafty weekend and next time I'll take duct tape (for cord management in the room) and a cushion for the chair. And a small first aid kit (aspirin, band aids, etc.)
What about scissors, journaling pens, white gel pens, craft mat, craft tweezers, craft pick and baby wipes or absorber (for clean up)?

and a cushion for the chair I actually take my own rolling chair. It's small, I got it in clearance section of Ikea. I really like having a rolling chair.

I like to bring a seat pillow or lumbar pillow. You'll be sitting a lot and your back/bottom might get sore. I also like to bring a shawl/scarf. Sometimes the air conditioning is on too high for my tastes and I need to keep my neck/shoulders warm.
Extra zip baggies. Large ones for organizing pages in progress. Small ones for organizing embellishments.
Have fun!

I have my very long list (I'm serious - it's like 4 or 5 pages) as a Word Doc on my PC. I'll try to remember to email it to myself and then I can see if I can figure out how to paste a link here, lol.

bandaids (and I have had to use mine or loan them), aspirin, kleenexes, baby wipes, small lap blanket (if get chilled)(esp the all nighters), slippers. I also bring a folding wire shelf (cheapy from Walmart bathroom area) to stack my supplies on, creates a little more table space. But don't go too high, cuz makes it harder to see your neighbor. I still like my cup holder that attaches to the table, I've had a spill on my table and it is no fun... oh, if there is a shared cricut, bring your own matt how fun!!!!

If you pack page kits heavy take an extra empty box or basket. I pack some page kits heavy and some lighter. I throw all my left over paper, scraps and embellishments in the empty basket and rifle for it when a page is missing a little something, something. Then when I get home it gets set on my tables and those are the first things I reach for and use when making page kits the next time. It encourages me to use scraps and half packages first.

I'm all about being comfy at a crop, so I always bring my slippers. Hate wearing shoes all day, but don't want to head to the snack table in just my socks.

Ok, I admit when you asked what you forgot the first thing that came to my mind was ME! My few scrappy friends no longer scrap so I don't go to retreats anymore. I did just sign up for an all day crop next month not knowing anyone so who knows what that may lead to. Anyway, you have a great list as well as suggestions. I took note!
I have my very long list (I'm serious - it's like 4 or 5 pages) as a Word Doc on my PC. I'll try to remember to email it to myself and then I can see if I can figure out how to paste a link here, lol. I would love to see your list!

This sounds so amazing! Like girl scout camp but inside, with booze, and you're making a scrapbook pages instead of dreamcatchers with twigs and yarn (actually, that's not that far off!). How do you get into one of these? It sounds incredible!

Perhaps bring something else you can do (make cards?) for an hour or two if you get bored of scrapping photos. I have done that once or twice. My retreats are up in the mountains in summer, so there is always something you can do for a bit. Perhaps bring a few things to put on a give away table? It is a great way to destash if you feel like you have too much.
Did anyone else mention another blade for your trimmer? I have ruined mine before and needed an extra.

Have fun!

Don't forget your paper trimmer! I forgot mine a few times (ahhh!) and learned that it is hard to scrapbook at a crop or a retreat when you can't cut a in a straight line. Now I leave an extra paper trimmer in the trunk of my car! Have fun at the retreat! ?
