Even though I may not really have a designated use for them. If there's a bunch(5+) in a ziplock bag marked $1.99, I have trouble saying no. Or I buy a large stamp because it is just so beautiful (and only $1.35) I am usually very good about not buying on impulse, but stamps make me cave. There is something about knowing I can use them again and again. And under $2 is a steal, right? Tell me your confessions. Ease my guilt.

ebbie I don't have a massive amount of supplies (not by pea standards, anyway) but plenty enough to last me quite a while. But there's always the one new thing that I just must have. And then another new thing I can't pass up. I'm a faster shopper than I am a scrapper.

I have been scrapping for about twelve years and throughout those years I have acquired lots I'm not sure if it is a lot re pea standards, but it is enough to last a good long time. I too shop faster than I can scrap... I'm thinking most of us have that ahem, problem. But if it is what makes you happy, it is no problem at all. For how long have you been scrapping?

Rubber stamps have always been my weakness!!! I confess I probably have more than 2000 plus, single wood mounted, that didn't come in sets over the years.
I've been collecting rubber stamps since high school in the late 80's, when I fell in love with the most amazing rubber stamp shop in town. I even had a subscription to Rubber Stamp Madness magazine. Needless to say, I've got quite the collection of stamps and I love every single one with no guilt!

I have my rubber stamps displayed in printer trays in my craft room. It makes me happy to see them. I have three more trays to fill before I have to say 'no more'. I'm a yard sale junkie and have found quite a few for very cheap!

I can pass buy a stamp like someone's old underwear, because I don't stamp. But I have a very hard time passing up an album, storage, or packs of embellishments.

I even had a subscription to Rubber Stamp Madness magazine! [ I *loved* that magazine and couldn't wait for the next issue. My routine was to first go through and look at all the ads. Then I would go back and read the articles. And I always looked at the back cover for the Stampa Barbara ad. And it was so oversized! I miss those days!

I have what amounts to a small LSS in my room. all I need at this point is a steady supply of adhesives. otherwise, a new products has to be extraordinary for me to buy it as opposed to years back when I bought anything and everything that came out.

here's my stamp confession: I have tons of Technique Tuesday alphabet stamps that are brand new and never used. probably will never be used because I realized I am just not a stamper. I bought them years ago when clear stamps were all the rage and I paid lots of money for them. and there they sit---in zippered binders, waiting to be used, will probably never be used, not knowing what to do with them now.

Oh man, I just donated a ton of stamps!
I would have happily sent them to any of you who willing to pay for shipping.
I am doing a major purge in my craft room. I got rid of at least 1/2 of my stamps.
Back in the day I used to be a Stampin' Up consultant.

I only rarely use stamps, but a guy in our office brought in his wife's collection of Stampin Up stamps - with her blessing, BTW! It was hard, but I only took about 5 home for cards.
I just can't start down that road!

I don't get to the thrift stores often. But, when I do, I check for rubber stamps and other craft supplies.

As for stamp sets, I do not own any... which might be a good thing, as if I were a stamper I'd probably own thousands of stamp sets ? I must admit, I have purchased packages of buttons from thrift stores.

I still have a few moving boxes FULL of back issues of RSM! I can't bring myself to recycle them and I don't know if the library would take them as a donation because I'm keeping a few of them. Stampa Barbara was the stamping mecca back in the day. Their stamps were so cool! I was lucky to be able to go to a couple of the locations and buy some of their stamps before they closed.

For how long have you been scrapping? About twelve years. I started just before my second child was born.

I was a RSM subscriber, too! It was a little "out there" for me - I was a novice stamper - but they sure had cool stuff. And the ads, too! How I miss magazine ads! I don't browse on the internet the same way I did with paper magazines.

I wish my thrift store was that good for crafty stuff! I find lots of other great things, but they usually have a couple of rolls of ribbon leftover from the 80's and grandmas old photo album. :/

In fact, it's not even usually that good. But I can spot a bag of rubber stamps a mile awhile. There is one really good thrift store, but it's more than 10 miles away, which translates to more than 40 minutes of driving in that direction. I can almost always count on something scrappy being there. But since it's such a long drive for a thrift store, I only go there when I'm looking for something else in particular too (like clothes).

I never make it to thrift stores to even look. My favorite is my friend's semi-annual rubber rummage sale! I sell stuff at it, and sadly almost never come home with any money because I end up buying stuff from the other consignors! It's nice to get rid of the stuff I no longer want and come home with bargain priced stuff that I can actually use though.

If you have the space, money and they make you happy go for it. I haven't used a rubber stamp in a while only the clear ones. They take up less space. Of course my closet is still filled with them. I do need to do a purge though as I am running out if room and there are some I know I will never use. I still have quite a few rubber sets and I should pull them out and use them. I know I have a couple of sets that I still like.

Compared to most scrappers I do not have a huge stash. But I have plenty for me, lol. Normally my 12x12 papers are less than 1 inch high.
