Anyone familiar with DaisyTrail scrapbooking site downloads? I wanted Shimelle's true stories digital files for embelsihing my planner. The only place that came up in my Google search was DaisyTrail. So I spent only $10 and downloaded the digikit. It totaly made my computer slower than dirt and it froze on me a couple times. Maybe it has something to do with it being UK? Their site says that the program files are compatable with microsoft. The program downloaded, but then asks me what program to open it with..I tried every program (adobe and microsoft) and none of the programs would read the files. So I emailed tech support but they haven't gotten back to me. I thought maybe someone else in the US would have downloaded it before? I've downloaded Simple Stories digital scrapbook kits before with no problem. After working on it for two days and trying different things I figured it was $10 I wasted cause computers really piss me off! LOL

I haven't heard of them, but you should run some malware software and run a check for viruses on your computer. I use avast and malwarebytes software, both free. Look in your Downloads folder to see whether some additional software was added and whether it's compatible with your version of windows. Try looking up the file extensions of the kit files on google and see if you can find some advice that way.
Hopefully you can get it all straightened out, or tech support will get back to you Monday.

I agree about running some scans to check for a virus or malware. Haven't heard of Daisy Trail before, but when I did a quick search it seems the files you download from there need to be opened in the software they also sell/promote called 'Craft Artist' I don't think you'll be able to open your files without it.
