16 and it's never once been full. For me, I think of what I use my iPhone for and what I use my iPad for. I'll get a larger iPhone when I upgrade next year (had the same one four years!) but would not likely upgrade my iPad. I mainly use it for browsing or watching videos on a plane. All my videos are in a cloud of some sort and easily re-downloaded. I keep zero photos on there. (I think taking photos/video with an iPad looks silly, personally). My phone, however, has become my primary point and shoot camera, and I really would like a larger size to take more photos/videos at concerts, etc. I just can't justify a larger size for photos and videos for an iPad when I can store them for free and download them in minutes when I want them. This is me to a T. I ***LOVE*** my Mini, but 16gb is more than I'll ever need on it. I just don't store a lot on it at all. I have a ton of apps, but almost no pics, videos, etc. It's just not what I use it for.

I got last years iPad mini, before the retina display version was released. It's a 64GB. So is my iPhone. I have over 3000 pictures on that. Plus my iPad has a ton of books on it via my Kindle app, iBooks and a few on my Nook app.
