Right now I'm really loving sequins and confetti. The fact that they are inexpensive and that they come several hundred to a package is a bonus.
I recently bought a pack of black stars confetti at Dollar Tree. When I bought it, I didn't realize that it has 3 different sized stars in it. Tiny, medium, and larger. They look so awesome scattered, almost lit a mist spray of stars. I used over twenty stars on the layout I was working on last night, and I made absolutely no dent in the package. But it's so versatile that i can use it for my sons or daughters. And so inexpensive that I can use it liberally.
I like arrows. Stamped arrow images, mostly. But I love little random arrow diecuts.
I like ephemera and small diecuts for layering. I mostly make my own with punches and stamps.
I still love paper flowers.
Love enamel dots. I wish they sold them 1000 in a package, and were less expensive.
I consider Stickles to be an embellishment, and I use them liberally.
Tell me about your favorite non-themed embellishments.

So it's usually diecuts or punches. I like flowers for heritage or memorial pages. I finally bought washi tape a month ago and see myself using that more.

Partial list of non-themed items I love;
Chipboard frames, transparent photo-frame overlays, frame stamps, veneer frames, acrylic frames, ect. Anything I can fill with photos or embellishments tends to delight me.
Buttons, brads, sequins, enamel dots, puffy stickers in hearts/stars/diamonds/circles/squares, small geometric veneer pieces, small acrylic pieces shaped like hearts and stars.
Die cuts/ephemera packages, escpecially ones with vintage-esque reciepts, labels, game pieces, flowers, hearts, stars, photo slides, mini file folders, mini envelopes, mini recipe cards, bits of ledger, and cat-shaped items.
Library cards and pockets.
Tickets in any permutation - stamped, vintage, punched out, plastic, chipboard, cardstock, on patterned paper or vellum.
Doilies, especially metallic doilies.
Plain cork stars, hearts, plus signs and bows.

bklyngal62 LavenderLayoutLady What do you do with your stickles? I have some and never use them! Last time I used them was for a Rudolph nose on a reindeer embellishment. If I can tape it down, I Stickle it! I like to outline patterns on the patterned paper with them. Flower middles. Outlining flowers. As raindrops. The "trail" that shows the path a butterfly or bee flew. As the flame to a candle. Sun "rays." In place of an enamel dot. Use it to write a title. Decorate a Christmas tree. Make Christmas light bulbs. Make a snowflake sparkle. There's really nothing I won't Stickle.

It comes in a small bottle, and dries clear. It has a precision tip.

I like all kinds of non themed things and have a treasure trove of miscellany to sift through. Buttons, brads, beads, clips, googly eyes, eyelets, sequins and other little things are sorted into clear bead boxes. I have ribbon on bolts and skeins of decorative yarns sorted by color in big clear bins in my island. Stickers, alphabets, chipboard and rub-ons all have their own bins, except for the themed things that are in with their themes. Flowers, bulk rhinestones and spools of baker's twine are in clear canisters on the shelf next to my desk. I like all kinds of diecuts and I hoard cutting files. I still use tags on almost every layout. I like the idea of Stickles (and glitter) but I don't use either very often.

I love confetti too, but my favorite way to use it is in sealed pocket pages for a little shaker. So cute! I love sequin pockets too. I have a ton of sequins, and I like to mix various confetti with it, put use small die cuts and words stamps on small strips of paper. I love the whole floating look.

You're inspiring me to dig out my Stickles! I just have a few colors, but the ones I have are versatile. Love all these ideas! My most used, favorite color (and I do have about 30 colors) is clear with the sparkles that are more blue than yellow undertone. Is that Diamond or Crystal? I don't remember. But anyway, I use it the most because I can put it on any other color and it just adds such a pop.

My number one favorite is enamel dots. They look perfect on every page - just that little something that brads offer as well.
Thickers alphabets - rarely meet one I don't love
That's about it. I use so much theme stuff there isn't room for much else on a page.

Currently, I'm loving enamel dots, too. I even bought those perler beads and am using my old toaster oven to make my own!
I still love ribbon/twine and it seems to make it's way onto a lot of my pages.
I am obsessed w/enamel brads. And by that I mean I love to buy them. I use them occasionally, but the panic of 'what will I do if I run out' frequently sets in and I don't use them nearly as much as I should.

I will typically use doilies, Thickers, paper flowers and a date stamp on most layouts. I also love rhinestones and baker's twine.

I mainly stick to two types of embellishments: printed die cuts and stickers. I throw in an enamel dot on almost every layout but I love the packs of die cuts like the ones from the Maggie Holmes collections and Simple Stories Bits & Pieces, October Afternoon's packs are like priceless diamonds to me. haha! I also love big 12x12 sticker sheets that have a variety of generic images on them, hearts, globes, arrows, etc. I just purged a bunch of stickers so I adore everything I own in that category now! I need to use a bunch of them!

I bought all three packages!
