Thanks to those who gave fashion advice for my job interview today. It went very well, I thought. I should hear something early next week.
I'm really hoping to get this. It's a way to continue my work in music education with a much broader scope and greater impact. I really liked the people who interviewed me and feel I'd fit in with the group already there.
I'm ready to get out of the classroom. Fingers crossed!

I ended up wearing sheer black hose and ... black flats. After all the fuss about the black vs. nude pumps, I was too afraid I would trip or turn my ankle in the heels. Obviously I'm a fashion disaster. As it turned out, the office was very casual and I felt even a little overdressed. So I was glad I didn't wear the pumps. |

I really hope you get this, Merge. However, I'll be sad to see you leave the classroom. We seem to see eye-to-eye on education issues and I enjoy your posts on the subject.
Says me, who sat through the worst meeting I have ever experienced in my entire career today. I'm in the mindset at the moment that if I could get out right now, I would do it in a heartbeat. I'm so discouraged. I'm hoping that I can turn my mindset around soon if I hope to make it.
