yep..... I really wish this administration would look at the consequences of not enforcing the laws that are on the books. One article I read stated that there has been at least one confirmed case of the swine flu brought in over the border due to the laxness.

I read something about that this morning, and apparently Mexico has apologized and said it was all a mistake. Some people aren't buying that, though.
I agree with luvspaper, though....I'm more worried right now about these children just pouring over the border like it's not even there. If that's not a compelling reason to secure the border before we start making plans about what to do with everyone already here, I don't know what is.

I saw this, but it was on a site called "TopRightNews" and while I believe most of their stuff, I don't pretend to believe that it is unbiased, so it makes me leery of talking about it to others. Is the mainstream media talking about this?
Also, did I spell leery correctly? Spell check says so, but I'm not sure I've actually ever typed out that word, and it just doesn't look right.

I read that they were doing a drug interdiction operation near the border. Now if they were trying to stop the flow of drugs from Mexico into the US and it was an honest mistake then I can forgive that because come folks - show a little effort. I don't know enough to determine if it was intentional or not but they flew back and Mexican officials immediately apologized.
