I am happy about the swan trend and I love a pretty gingham. I think we might see a Southwest trend. I really hope we don't see the trend of 1980's chickens. I never want to see those chickens again. My Mother traumatized me over this. I can't... Attachments:

My Mother traumatized me over this. I can't... Yeah, that's what I had visions of when I saw the hideous Pantone colors of the year. No thank you!!!!

Flannel, actually plaids. It seems like all the hipsters are wearing plaid, light brown/goldish khakis, and striped socks. So I guess I'm sayings lumberjack plaid patterns and hipster stripes.

More watercolor swishes...
I'd like to see less of the Best day ever trend. And cliché themes in general.

My Mother traumatized me over this. I can't... Oh gawd, that picture reminds me of my mother's home decor circa 1987. I've had enough of my daughters wearing tribal print leggings. No more Southwest anything, please.

Yes, they honey badger. The titles would already be written! Ok, people... If honey badgers, with or without the hyaenas and zebras mentioned, are in, you will all need to come over here on safari so you can take photos to match those themed papers and little old me will be ahead of the wave Drinks are on me, let's crop! That sounds like a fantastic idea. I also have teens that would fit right in some of that themed paper. Teens' attitudes=honey badgers.

After so many years of using Creative Memories, I swore I would never use gingham paper again! Lol. I see many people doing hand writing with modern calligraphy type fonts.

The offer still stands though, cropping and drinks for anyone coming over on safari.

That picture was a nightmare. It reminded me of a set from Dynasty or the Colby's. I thought Fallon from La Mirage was going to pop up. ! When I thought Southwest trends I was thinking cactus's or coyotes. I really hope the scrapbook companies do not get any ideas from that photo.

I actually think pastels are going to make a big comeback since the color of the year was baby blue and baby pink. No! Please no!

I was completely unaware of this colloquialism! Here ya go! You'll laugh til you cry! (Also, the video contains some salty language, FYI)

I was completely unaware of this colloquialism! Here ya go! You'll laugh til you cry! (Also, the video contains some salty language, FYI) Fun! I live in the land of the honey badger- we have a particularly nasty military vehicle named after it, in a local language, the "ratel". After my faux pas on the teenager colloquialism I found a few articles on the alternative uses of honey badger

and rose gold (copper) will replace yellow gold to an extent I love all of the metal looks and copper has been hard to find, so I really hope this is right. But please, please, please, no southwest.

I am not a fan of pastels and nothing mentioned sounds like something I would want which I guess was the point of this thread. It would save me a lot of money though if any of these became the trend. Luckily I have a huge stash and am working hard to purge and organize it.

I'm guessing "Americana" might make a comeback (gingham, rustic...) but no ducks with blue ribbon bows on their necks, please!
