How many rest days do you take a week? I exercise 6 days a week. I do HIIT and weights each of those days. Just wondering if I should take another rest day moving forward. I am in maintenance for weight, but still would love to continue to tone and build muscle. Feel free to add your exercise questions.

Right now, I take one, because that's the Hammer & Chisel program. I generally am getting some sort of exercise, even when not on a program, at least 5 days a week and more often 6, though it might just be a long walk. I feel a lot better mentally when I get a workout in, and working out is usually something I enjoy (though not always!). I find it a lot easier than the dieting part of the whole thing. Which is why I'll be forever fighting the Battle of the Bulge.

I work out 4-5 days a week. IMO, 6 days of HIIT and weights is a lot. Your body truly needs rest to continue to improve. I am still active on my off days (walking, hikes, yoga, etc.) but nothing particularly strenuous.

I take 2-3 recovery days a week. Typically my recovery days are 'active rest days', which include a lot of walking, going to the park with the kids, etc.

I typically run every other day but I'm having some difficulty maintaining my goal weight so have started doing a workout every day (might not be running though). I also believe one's body needs time between workouts to repair and build new muscle etc.

It really depends on what you want. I hope in those 6 days some days are easier than others though. Your body does need time to recover. What does each day of the week look like?
I am training for a half ironman and have about 6-9 workouts a week and Mondays are my rest day. There are recovery workouts in there to let the body rest.

I've always stuck to 5 days a week. Somehow that seems more doable than 6 . If I felt like I needed all 6 workouts, I'd probably try to combine 2 into one day.

I do cardio weights 5 days a week. Since I eat more on the weekends than weekdays when I exercise, I try to get in some walking on yoga on the weekend.
