I've never seen the chocolate bras. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place I went with friends in May for the shortest Ikea trip known to man. I was so upset. My one friend and I always take at least 6 hours in there. We look at everything, try it out, eat. We love it there! I usually only go on Saturday, since the closest one is 2 hours from me.

You deserve one of those big chocolate bra at the cash register- or 3 for $5! I totally want this! I did not see these at Ikea the last time I was there. I may make a special trip ! Honestly, though, I am assuming you meant chocolate bars, and I didn't know that they had those either. Are they good? I enjoy the cinnamon rolls there. I can usually get my family to go to Ikea with me if I promise to reward them with cinnamon rolls. Oh no- what an autofill! Yes! The chocolate is good. We're milk chocolate fans and it's very smooth. DH likes their dark, but we're not major dark fans so I can't compare it. I use the bars and gingersnaps for bribery.

I absolutely love Ikea--90% of the furnishings and decor items in my home are from there--but I loathe going there on a weekend. I've done it when I needed OSDP to go with me, but if I'm running in for small items I can carry myself, I go during the weekdays.

My IKEA isn't that bad..I mean yes it is busy on weekends but no people shoving people down to get in the doors etc. I love wandering around there and always find something to buy! The cinnamon rolls are yummy too!

I haven't actually been in the store in years. I use the online catalog, pick out what I want and find out where it is in the warehouse.

I just went today. Yes, Saturday! We stayed in a hotel near by, so I decided to stop by for the 99 cent breakfast and some frames. It was not too terrible, however, there was a T-Rex walking around ours. Yes, a very big, noisy, vicious T-rex. It tried to steal my purse and scared innocent children. I am not joking.
And, I did buy the chocolate bars. Can't seem to find one of them already. Sending the other two in a care package to dd as I am home alone and am afraid they will disappear.
Sadly, they did not have any smaller containers of gingersnap cookies, just a big tin and a big box.

I made it out alive!!! But I wasn't always nice. Why do people insist on walking 3 or even 4 people wide, preventing anyone from passing?? Seriously, people, not everyone is there for a leisurely stroll. I knew exactly what I needed and exactly where they were (Flyt magazine files). I was on a mission. So if someone was in my way, I was not afraid to say excuse me (firmly) and squeeze by. I came, I saw, I conquered....

I need to go with my son and we talked about going yesterday. I'm glad we didn't go based in the Saturday crowds. I think we will go during the week.

Why was there a dinosaur at Ikea? Was it the Elizabeth store? And was it there to promote Field Station Dinosaur or whatever that place is that just opened up that way? It doesn't seem like a very good promotion, if that was the case. And if it wasn't there for that reason, well, I still don't get it. But now I want cinnamon rolls and chocolate bars.

The closest Ikea for me in in Houston.
I love it. Love! My dh hates it. Hate!
So my dd and I wander the maze looking, my dh and ds sit and eat waiting for us.
The only reason we go back is that we bought dressers for the kid's and they still look great 5 years later.
The only time we go is during the week. I watched the news for the opening and it was crazy. I hear that weekends are almost as bad as the opening day.

Yes, JerseyJenn, it was the Elizabeth store. No idea what it was promoting. Just bummed I couldn't find rolls of the gingerbread cookies. Made up for that with chocolate bars.
