For years my scrapping inspiration has come from blogs and online galleries. Now there are so many options, but I don't want to spend all day on the internet...
How do you get your daily dose of inspiration? Are more people using Instagram? Facebook? Blogs? Pinterest? YouTube? All of the above?

It is a time sucker but I do enjoy finding inspiration in all those places. I love to follow people who post their entire layout on Instagram. I'm trying to do that more. I also love certain blogs: Ali Edwards, of course, Marie Lottermoser, Crafty Jen Schow, and I also love a lot of manufacturer blogs but I don't go to those all that much. I still enjoy Pinterest for finding inspiration but I only visit it about once a week. Mainly I use it as a holding place for everything I see elsewhere on the web. I guess it boils down to this: My main source of inspiration comes from my favorite scrappers and I follow them in all the places they post.

Really, I'm here and I look on Pinterest.
If someone links a blog here in a thread, I usually check it out, but I know within a minute or so if I want to continue looking.

I use Instagram for almost all my inspiration. I'm not only following scrappers but also magazines, fashion brands, artists, etc. Love it! I'm on Instagram far more than I should be. It's a timesucker, for sure.
Then I go to Facebook to chat with friends. Love Facebook groups and pages!
I rarely go to Pinterest these days. They kind of ruined it when they wouldn't show pins from people I follow, but mostly 'picked for you' and sponsored pins. I think they try to back on that strategy and they probably are better now, but I haven't been able to rekindle the love. I mostly go there for searches now.

I absolutely cannot handle Pinterest, even for wedding stuff! It's just too much of a rabbit hole. I use bloglovin.com to keep up with all my blogs. You make a following list and the new posts come up like an RSS feed! It keeps me on top of CT posts and shop releases. I will also say they do kind of spam you so you have to opt out of that. I also love Instagram but I need actual information in addition to a pic. So if Instagram leads me to a blog, I follow it. If I'm looking for something specific I google it! Hope that helps

Pinterest has been annoying me for about a year. My feed is just too cluttered with random bits and ads. If I go over there just looking for scrapping inspiration, I wish I could edit what it's showing me from people I follow to JUST show me scrapping stuff. I don't want to weed through the ads, preschool activities, home decor etc of the other people I follow. That's why I started my scrappy-only Instagram account, I'm now following manufacturers and scrappy friends, designers, etc. Yes there's some other stuff peppered in if a person I follow also posts other stuff, but it's MUCH more streamlined. I really, really like it! And I'm following some fun refupeas, so that's pretty great too I still have my personal Instagram as well, but none of my RL friends on Insta scrap. So I just felt kind of weird using it more to post layouts. Having two accounts is the solution for me!

Mostly instagram. I have a scrapbooking/artjournaling only account as well. I love that I can go to that account strictly for scrap/art inspiration.
Pinterest is frustrating... even when I search I don't feel like I really find what I'm looking for. If I use it for inspiration, it's because of what I've actually saved to my inspo boards.

I am mostly on Instagram and I follow blogs through a blog reader. I go to Pinterest only about once a week, or less.

Mostly Instagram now. I used to always pin stuff on Pinterest, but haven't in a while - just been too busy. And those recommended for you pins drive me crazy!
I used to visit a lot of blogs but find I can see what everyone's up to on IG much easier and in one place. It seems to me there's a lot less happening on blogs. I certainly haven't updated mine in a while because it's a lot more work to post there than to take a quick photo, write a few words and do it all from my phone. I follow a mix of manufacturers, DT members, fellow peas and other crafty friends, as well fashion/lifestyle accounts.

I guess it boils down to this: My main source of inspiration comes from my favorite scrappers and I follow them in all the places they post. Do the people you follow post different content in each acct? Let me think about that. I actually do not share my IG pics to Facebook because I want to give people a reason to follow me on IG. I am not a big fan of people sharing all their IG to FB because then why am I following them in both places if I'm just seeing the same thing? KWIM? But most "big" people do that. I'm trying to think of people I follow and what they do...Let's see, Crafty Jen Schow will show a sneak of what's she's doing on her social media and then on her blog she has pics and writing about her project and an embedded video but I guess if you were someone who just went to YouTube, you could just watch her latest video and not need to see the rest. I think some people pop over to YouTube daily. I kind of only go when I am alerted that someone I follow has posted something new. I would say Nancy Damiano blogs regularly and shares a layout but she ALSO puts the entire layout on Instagram. Probably because she knows that people just don't read blogs much anymore. I like the way Ali Edwards does it. She shares photos on IG and then her actual projects you can only see on her blog. That gives me a reason to go to her blog. I guess I said before that I like it when people put the whole layout on IG but the more I think about it, maybe I really do prefer having to go to a blog post and read about it. I tend to just quickly overlook something on IG where as I really take in a blog post. I guess what I do is just go to a few places each day and then it adds up to being inspired. So like I always start my day scrolling Instagram and then I go to Facebook because I host a group there so I have to check in there and then sometimes I look through FB and sometimes I don't because FB annoys me because there's so little original content. It's all "shares" and I'm over it. Something will spark an idea of a person and I'll go to their blog and then maybe once a week I peruse Pinterest. It all adds to too much time online, that's for sure! LOL!
