All of the above - it really could go either way but the best guess is a short sleeve dress with a cardigan in case the beach is colder that day - it can be 20 degrees colder on the actual beach with the wind. June is kind of a month that can be hot but also can be cold. Or rainy.

Good luck with that decision I'd have a couple options and check the weather when it gets closer and then realize it will be cooler by the ocean. There's no predicting what you'll find for weather. I was out of town Monday, but I believe weather was close to 60. Yesterday mid-50's, today we're getting snow.

Sleeveless with a wrap or cardigan, you are covered no matter what the weather is. Most locals will be sleeveless with wraps.

Sounds nice! What beach are they getting married at?
I would say a sleeveless dress with a cardigan too. You just never know with this New England weather.

Take it all. In June, the beach could still be 50* out or it could be 90. New England weather is fun. I'd watch the weather about a week out to get a better idea.

@remrer funny thing about the wraps, I know one wedding favor is a pashmina wrap for each female guest.

I agree with the sleeveless/short sleeves and a wrap or cardigan. When it gets a little closer to the date ask again and we can let you know how the weather has been. We've had steamy June's and we've had cool/ cold June's. It just depends. My guess is it's going to be hot this summer as we've had a pretty mild winter so far.

Isn't it a little early to worry about dressing for a June wedding? I always check the weather forecast of where I'm going before traveling then pack accordingly.

I would kill DH if he complained about my overpacking. :-)

Well, yah but she probably wants to shop - I know I would! It's February and crappy weather in the mid-Atlantic now. Actually, I want to shop too! Can't we just enable her?

amom23 , yep just want to shop! Well lose weight, then shop! cmpeter , DH has actually gotten used to my packing. I can't explain too often that whether we go for a weekend or a week, there are essentials that I must pack. My not so dbil, comments.every.single.time. We visit. But I remind him as well, that I bring linens, toiletries, pillows, clothes, cleaning supplies. We use nothing of their's despite their repeated offer to use whatever we need. I prefer to over pack and keep getting invited back.

You never know. I went to a summer wedding at the beach here and it poured all day and night. I would pack a dress and a sweater because it could be 70-80 or 50s and raining.
