Here names usually last are a necessity for jackets . There are approximately 15 boys in ds's grade 7 class who play hockey for the same association. 12 of which will have the same jacket with only the name and sometimes jersey number to tell whose is whose.

See...I'll go even one more step and say that we play "Marco Polo" at stores when the kids get far enough away that I actually would have to use their name loud enough for anyone else to hear. Mostly because if they lose me, they dont' have to yell "MOM" and have all the other moms disturbed LOL.
While it might not be strangers, I just don't see any need to blast the children's names. But I don't put stick kids or other identifying stickers on my car either.

You just need a big ole I heart my German Shepherd Dog sticker right next to it Or an "I support the NRA" sticker. I ALMOST typed that and decided I better stick to safer sticker LOL

Eh, I'm not worried about the safety issue of it all. In our neck of the worth the boys typically get last namea, girls it is 50/50 on first or last
