Any clue? I'm making chicken spaghetti and the recipe calls for 1 fryer chicken, but I'd like to use boneless chicken breasts instead.

It doesn't have to be exact. A fryer chicken usually weighs from 3-5 pound with the bones in. So, 2-3 pounds of boneless meat would be about right.
Baking is an exact science... spaghetti chicken is very forgiving. Use however much you want, from none to a full bag of chicken.

The chicken breast you buy in a package of three tend to be really ginormous, particularly compared to a fryer chicken. I have made the pioneer woman's chicken spaghetti with two of those breasts shredded and it was ample enough for me-in fact, most of the time I use 1 1/2 and don't feel like that we were cheated of chicken.
I don't know the size of the chicken breasts your store sells, but I am basing my answer on the packages that I typically buy from Publix with individual pieces that are probably equal to at least a cup and half of shredded meat each.

ETA My quick read of the thread title had me thinking you were asking how many breasts does a fryer chicken have .

The only time we eat the breasts is when we buy a whole chicken (think Costco roasted). And then we usually make burritos or Buffalo wraps the second day with the breast. We prefer to buy thighs, there is sooooo much more flavor. You can get them boneless and skinless, too.

I always use a pack of the chicken breasts from Costco (you know the package that has two breasts per pack and I think 8 packs per package?) for whatever the recipe calls for. It always seems to work out ok for our family...
