I have the SimpleHuman soap dispenser, which I do like. However, buying refill soap for it is a PITA.
Tried using normal Softsoap refill or whatever - too thick I guess. DH figured out some 50/50 mixture of two liquid soaps we had on hand that worked well, but we are now out.
I was planning to just buy refills on Amazon, no biggie... but the cost is RIDICULOUS!! I can order from BB&B or SimpleHuman directly, but #1) Big ass hassle to have one more site to check out on #2) have to order $49 for free shipping. I guess SimpleHuman has an app where they have free shipping and reasonable prices - OH, it is Apple iOS only.
So screw that. What brand/type of soap do you use that you can buy at Walmart/Target?

I have an electric soap dispenser from BB&B not sure what brand it is. ( I went and looked mine is simple human ) There's a reservoir that I fill so no 'refills' specifically. I fill mine with pink oil of Olay dawn dish detergent. Mostly because it's at my kitchen sink and that serves both purposes well ie cleaning dishes and hands without being harsh on my hands.
We have regular pump dispensers in our bathrooms and I get the soft soap Shea butter in the huge bottle for those.

I have the electronic dispenser also and use what ever dish soap I find in sale. I love it!

I use method dish soap in mine. I've also used seventh generation dish soap and original blue dawn. I think anything that isn't creamy and has no inclusions for scrubbiness and whatnot would work.

Thanks, I ended up buying Method hand soap. I did a quick google while at Target and the Sharper Image website said Method would work in the SimpleHuman - we shall see.
Gale - one of the soaps we had was clear with nothing in it but it was too thick for the dispenser I guess. Mixing a 50/50 of the clear and another more pearl-y white soap we had worked for some reason, but what a hassle.
