Does anyone remember who posted the photo of her daughter with the beaded Converse and a homecoming dress? I may actually be combining two people - maybe one daughter who wore beaded Converse to prom, and a different daughter wore converse with satin bows to match her dress in a family photo (purple and black, maybe?). Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

YES! Thank you! I was searching for beaded and not blinged out!
And I am mixing two people. There is also another Refupea daughter wearing converse with a short dress. I'm remembering her brother in the photo too. Maybe even sitting in a tree. But that could be another photo altogether!

Ha Ha J u l e e that was me!
Those were the cutest shoes ever!
Are you going to make a pair?
If you are, I highly recommend using the E600 glue. (I think that's what it is...it's E-something) It's really stinky but it really get the job done! She still wears them with jeans and dresses and hasn't lost hardly any pearls!

I'm going to try! Thanks for the recommendation. My daughter has eighth grade graduation in May and she is not crazy about wearing a dress, so I figured these might make the occasion more fun. It's painful to watch some of the girls try to walk across the stage in their first pair of high heels! Quinn is self conscious enough without having to worry about her shoes! I'm so glad you shared these with us!

I'm so glad you shared these with us! Yeah, high heels need practice, AT HOME. I eventually could sprint in mine in high school which came in handy at several Speech and Debate tournaments when I was doubling and tripling events and had to cover a school as fast as possible to be judged.

My daughter's middle name is Quin!

Yes! These were the other photos I was thinking of! I love her dress and the shoes are perfect for it! Very eighth grade appropriate. Especially for my daughter. Your kids are so cute! Thank you for posting these again. (Love her middle name!)
